In the description of this honey, a price is announced everywhere for 7.6 Kg while I only received one jar of 1.36 Kg (3.0 lbs). We are far from the weight announced.
In Canada this is called deceptive advertising and it is illegal.
I would have liked to email Amazon to discuss it but due to the fact that this product is not returnable the system is blocking me and I couldn't find any way to do it. (I do not intend to return the product but only get the advertised quantity for which I have already paid.)
It's very frustrating not being able to easily communicate with Amazon (which is the seller in this case) and it calls into question the pleasure of placing orders as I have done for several years.
I don't know about the other customers, but in my case it turns me off a lot to place new orders if at the slightest problem there is no way to communicate with them.
A doubly disappointed customer.

This is a product I highly recommend to anyone looking for Raw, Unpasteurized honey. Have had no problems with it … until I went from the 22oz jar to the 3lb one.
Now as you all know this product is advertised as "Unpasteurized." Meaning all the natural raw constituents and live enzymes have not completely denatured.
So, when I received this 3lb jar and opened it I noticed consistency wise it was kind of jelly like. But I attributed this to the outdoor heat. But my eye caught a white sticker by the side that read: Pasteurized and I was miffed. If it was pasteurized honey I wanted, I would order one. But this isn't the case.
On the main label is the advertised "Raw, Unpasteurized" written clearly, so I was confused as to why the side bumper sticker contradicting this. Now I do not know if this error is from the manufacturers .. or the 3rd party vendor. But I contacted the vendor who — at first didn't reply. After a 2nd mail, I got a response requesting my order number which I sent. I have not heard from him/her ever since. This was sold to me by the vendor: SportingDoc. And until proven otherwise, I'll assume the side sticker was pasted there by them.
I still recommend this brand, but with a caveat: Check the jar for any fine print sticker that contradicts what's being advertised before opening it.
I've include photos of the current jar and an empty previous one so you can see what I'm talking about.
I guess I'll stick with the 22oz version until I'm sure of what's going on.

I knew honey was good for you but I didn't know the difference between regular "commercial" honey and raw honey. I actually purchased it for making homemade creams. Since I didn't know much, I started looking into it and this is what I found:
Based on my "research", the majority of honey that you buy at a store is made to be spreadable through pasteurization. During the pasteurization of that honey, the yeast and enzymes are partially killed to make it appear more "appealing" to the customer, and eases the processes of bottling it for purchasing it on the shelf. The commercial honey is easier to spread because it's been processed to prevent fermentation… This can cause problems if left on the shelf for a long time. The pasteurization also causes it to taste different.
* On that note, I do have to tell you that I was spreading this on my son's toast the other morning and when I wasn't looking, he scooped a big spoon of it out of the jar and shoved it in his mouth. The face he made was hilarious!! He has never tried raw honey and told me that it is the sweetest honey he has ever had. He said that, although, it was good it was WAY too overwhelming in such a large dose. Hahaha. He did agree that a tiny amount is much better than a spoonful. This is MUCH different than the honey he has been used to eating, which at times has consisted of him sucking it out of a straw.
Ok, so back to my amateur research… I found out that eating raw honey is healthier because it is alkalizing in the body. It's qualities are similar to that of fruit and can be used to aid indigestion, relieve nausea, and give you a bit of energy. When you buy raw honey, you can expect to see a speck here and there because it is not processed to remove everything. So you may see tiny bits of honeycomb, bee wings, or something of that sort. This doesn't mean it's "dirty", it means it's legitimately raw. (Which is a good thing.) I have to tell you that when I read the reviews before, I was VERY worried about what to expect. I almost didn't buy this… but now I'm glad I did.
I'm attaching some pictures to show you the crystallization. It comes out nice and rich, is incredibly sweet, and definitely worth the buy.

This product is advertised as unpasteurized. There's a sticker on the jar thats not shown in the advertised photos, stating that the product is in fact pasteurized. Forget everything else, I give it one star just for simply being dishonest.

I’m surprised to see that there is no seal under the plastic lid. Also, the label gives conflicting information: on the yellow label it says “pure, unpasteurized…” but there’s an additional white label stating it’s “pasteurized”… can someone explain about it?

My jar is almost empty. Love this and didn't think that I would. Ordered the 3 lb. jar.Surprised that it comes from my state. I use it in my tea and when I have a sore throat or cough. Love that it is spreadable.
10/2After buying 3 jars(2 were 3lbs.) I wonder what is really in this product. I flip flop with this(raw honey) and another honey. Ys raw honey is different than my other honey. To me it has the taste of syrup in it when compared to my regular honey. Ys also has a label stating that it is pasturized. This label was placed on every jar that I purchased. I will now give this 2 stars and buy no more. I just wonder what is in this honey besides honey. To advertise unpasteurized but add a controversial label on the jar is very questionable.
