Excellent mallet set.
Well made, and strong. Nice that it comes as a set.

These mallets feel substantial and well-made. I like that this boxed set comes with two – one standard rubber-head mallet and a smaller one that to be honest, I’m not sure what it’s used for, exactly. (There are no instructions or product descriptions included). I will likely use the larger rubber mallet more, but both are probably handy to have around the house.
The mallets are weighty, but easy to grip. There are holes in the end that you can also use to hang them up.
I think these are useful and the quality feels durable.

It is excellent but heavy a little.

Not bad for the price at all, would like the mallet rubber to be a little more robust. Seems to chip fairly easily but the small non marring hammer has been great on aluminum and doesn't scratch it.

A couple good little hammers for a great price.

I found it was cheaply made

These are indispensable when needed. I am working some "gentle" assembly which needs some persuasion to fully seat without leaving marks. This fit the bill. Seems well made for the price.

This is a great idea to be able to get both hammers in one set. I love them and highly encourage anyone who wants good quality hammers to order this set.

I don’t use these too often but they seem to be good quality and were accurate to the description.

Pros: solid construction, versatility with two different mallet styles, ergonomic handle feels comfortable
Cons: My dead blow mallet head was marred like it had been previously used; the “collars” connecting the handles to the heads seem to be decorative and are not attached.
Every DIYer needs a couple of mallets for more delicate work – when you need to pound on something without leaving a mark or risking other damage to the material. I’m a hobbyist woodworker, so these have been great for a couple of small projects: dowel joinery, Ikea furniture assembly, knocking pieces into place when dry-fitting. The handles feel good, and the construction seems generally solid, though the “collar” between the handle and the head of both mallets seems to be disconnected and appears to be simply decorative (see image). I don’t think this has any effect on the integrity of the joint, but it was something I noticed.
I also noticed some odd marring on the dead-blow mallet that does not look like it would be from normal machining, assembly, or shipping (see image). It looks like part of the mallet head was rubbed against a rough surface. I can’t say for sure that I was sent a used product, but it just doesn’t seem like something you’d see on a new tool. Still, I don’t foresee it affecting the performance of the mallet; just another observation. The two-head mallet looks to be pristine.
These will be a handy and frequently used addition to my little workshop.

Both of these hammers are approximately weighted and work well for my needs.
