When I pulled these out of the box they seemed really nice. I had only ever bought the wooden spoons from the dollar store. Recently I broke two spoon handles while stirring…..soup! Even though I got more than my money’s worth out of my dollar store spoons I decided to get spoons with thicker handles. That’s where these come in. They seemed nice. I hand washed them out of the box, then put them away. I admit that I didn’t dry them, but I’ve never dried any of my spoons. They’re always left to air dry. Any way I took one out a few days later and noticed a big split through the bowl of the biggest spoon. I’ve already thrown the box away so I got three spoons for $20. I’ll stick to dollar store spoons. I’ve gotten at least 15 years out of them. They’ve soaked in water overnight, they’re air dried, they’re burnt and only now are they breaking. I don’t want spoons that have to be babied.
