Our seed paper is HANDMADE by artisans are known as “Kagzis” in India. This name is derived from the Urdu word ‘Kavas’, that means paper. In the 16th century, Raja Man Singh, the ruler of Ambar, settled the Kagzi in Sanganer on the banks of Saraswati river where clear water was easily available. Thus, this city emerged as one of North India’s largest paper producing centers. The size of this community has decreased in the last few years. There is a small area of ‘Kagzi’ in Sanganer near Jaipur, where a section of this community had settled thousands of years ago. This Eco-Conscious sustainable paper is acid-free and chemical-free, made with 100% recycled cotton. This 250 gsm paper is Thick and will not bleed through.
