I got this for my knife kit as I work in kitchens.
I prefer this type of peeler design as I feel you have a bit more control to it. This peeler is definitely an XL version. It was two blades a straight edge and a serrated edge.
Depending on which one you use, it will give you different results.
The straight edge is pretty straight forward, the serrated doesn’t really julienne the food per se, but it does have a grooved texture.
It is very sturdy and I like that it is all metal vs plastic.

I'm a lefty, so I've always had a hard time peeling potatoes or vegetables with the standard hand-held peeler that is built for right-handers. This peeler is amazing and easy to use once you get the hang of it. You still have to be cautious, as with anything with a blade can cut if you hold it the wrong way. But overall, it's a very helpful gadget, and it makes it quicker to peel. It's also easy to rinse off or wash.

This peeler has a very wide blade. I have not had to use it on a vegetable that was wider than the blade. So, it peels vegetables pretty quickly. It is sharp and does a good job peeling. It is light weight and comfortable in your hand. It is nice and easy to clean. I have some other peelers that get water in the handles. No need to worry about that with this peeler. The handle is pretty wide, but not uncomfortable. A good peeler at an ok price.

I like this peeler as I needs something wider and larger for cabbage slicing. This peeler is not only for cabbage but many different fruit and vegetables. There is double-edged blade with a flat blade and a sawtooth blade for different use. It is a good design/idea, however, rotating the blade is a little tricky and danger as the blade is very shape. I don't usually need a sawtooth blade so I'm sticking with the flat blade for convenience. As I mentioned, the blade is very sharp that I peel/slice carrots and taro roots etc. hard root vegetables at ease without issue. It is easy to use and clean as described. This peeler is made of stainless steel that should last for a long time. I only have it for a week that cannot tell if it rusts like other stainless steel peeler. So far so good and rime will tell.
