The colour was much greener than I anticipated and I might have returned the bag had I not needed it right away for a trip because I loved the colour online. I was also a little worried that the bag might be too flimsy for much travel – it's just the outer shell with a fabric liner inside.
HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised by this bag! I was able to pack everything I needed for a three-week trip without needing the expandable zipper on the side (which is good, because the bag is actually slightly wider than United Airlines/Air Canada allow for carry-on; it was never clocked, though, and always fit in the overhead bins. I don't think it would have with the expanded zipper open). The 360 degree wheels made it super easy to take through the airport. It survived on sidewalks and bumpier surfaces too but it was a bit of a struggle. The expanding handle didn't always click in right away and sometimes it felt loose, like it might break. But it held on!
Pros:

– great carry-on size with inside zippers/elastics to keep things from shifting

– if the airline makes you measure it in the luggage sizers, I'm not sure it would fit
– feels a little flimsy and scratches easily

We now have 3! My daughter and I are new to travelling. And we purchased these last year. We checked these and had a bag for carrying and it had more than enough room. Purchased one for my son this year who is coming with us over Christmas. Sturdy. Roomy. And even though one was damaged by the airline I used my blow dryer to warm the dent and it pushed back out.

Used this piece of luggage 3 times…. 3 TIMES and it fell apart where the zippers are "supposed" to be protected. I have been trying to figure out a way to try and have it replaced, but it seems impossible.

I purchased this suitcase for a week-long trip where I needed a carry-on. I usually check a bag, and because of this, I didn't have a carry-on suitcase for my school trip. I found this affordable option. After looking at many reviews, I was skeptical and nervous about the quality. I discovered that the suitcase held up well. Due to full flights, the bag ended up getting checked and made it through with no problem. One big complaint across reviews was a flimsy handle and broken zippers. I found the handle and entire suitcase to be quite sturdy and beyond my expectations for the price of the suitcase. I could see the possibility of the zipper breaking at some point, it snagged a few times and wasn't very smooth, but it was fine for my needs. Other than that, for the price tag, this was a great option. If you need a good option but don't want to spend a lot on luggage, this is a good choice!

This my first hard sided carry on bag, and I have been very pleased with this bag. Here are some observations…
– Build quality: The bag seems to be well built with the exception of the handle. It is very loose and has a lot of play when extended. I have not had any problems with the functionality of the handle so far, but I guess time will tell if it holds up. Otherwise, the bag seems to be quite sturdy.
– Size: I was a little concerned that the carry-on would be too large to take on a plane as a carry on, but since getting the bag I have flown on several international flights with Delta and American Air, and have not had any problems at all, in fact it actually appears to be smaller than many of the carry on bags that other people bring.
– Capacity: When folded and rolled together tightly I am able to fit about 6 pairs of jeans and 10-12 shirts in the carry on. One side of the carry on has an elastic "seat-belt" that snaps together to hold the clothes in place while the other side has a panel that zips closed entirely to prevent clothes from falling all over the place when the carry on is opened.
I have been very pleased with all aspects of this bag with the exception of the handle. I would definitely recommend it for purchase.

So on approximately my fourth international trip after the purchase of this bag my fears regarding the durability of the handle were confirmed. The handle came apart on during normal use on one of my trips and one of the internal parts that allowed the handle to expand and collapse was lost. I was able to jurry-rig something together so that the handle functions again, but I will be watching the handle very closely to make sure that doesn't happen again.
I have dropped my rating to three star s from my original four as the bag has otherwise held up well and still looks good. If you do decide that this bag is the right value for you make sure that you check the handle often so you don't get stuck in an airport with a handle that doesn't work.
