I purchased Totika MGO 1050 for it's medicinal uses, not for eating (it tastes good though as well). It did what it was supposed to do. My first review got rejected as it is probably not permitted to mention medicinal uses as that would possibly equal medical advice. If you are looking for medicinal grade honey this will do. Buying higher MGO will be quite a bit more expensive and this one does the job well.

Good Manuka honey, consistency is ok. The packaging could be improved, looks a bit boring.

This honey is so rich and thick and decadent! It's an amber-ish color and it's perfect with my coffee and tea! I love the deep honey flavor! I also love that it has a great amount of Manuka in it. It's also an amazing price for how much you get. Definitely a perfect add for all year round, but especially to keep your health up in the winter months as it's a great antimicrobial. It also smells and tastes sweet and rich and yummy!

A bit expensive, but worth the money.
One thing I love about raw New Zealand honey is how much grit and texture the honey has – and especially for manuka honey, which has many benefits for skincare – the grit can act as a mild, natural exfoliant.
If you plan on consuming this honey, the taste is great as well, there's tons of pollen here.

I can't believe the price for this honey but I am seeing Manuka honey products everywhere for the health benefits. This honey is thick and delicious, and came well-sealed. Other than the price this is honey is great! Definitely stands apart from grocery store honey.

I am a little late to the party when it comes to trying Manuka honey but I have read about its advertised health benefits for quite a while. I appreciated that this jar was sealed securely with both a breakaway, tamper-proof cap and plastic wrap. The labeling is good, and includes all the sourcing information and testing as well. As soon as I opened it, I knew it would be different from the supermarket brands I’m used to. The honey scent was strong, very appealing, and the opaque, caramel color is intriguing. I took a small taste, since I didn’t know what to expect, and I did not detect anything offputting or bitter. If anything, it seemed a bit sweeter than honey I am used to. I then spread this on some buckwheat and other artisan crackers and was really happy with the blend of flavors. It spreads really nicely, being slightly thicker than regular honey, so it didn’t drizzle its way off the sides. It is really smooth, with just a hint of texture on the tongue. I haven’t used this enough to test its healing properties but I like the taste very much and plan to use it more regularly. The price seems in line with others that I see being sold and I believe this is a quality product.

Product shipped quickly and arrived intact. Manuka honey can be quite expensive, and this product is actually fairly competitive in terms of pricing for the MGO 650+ labeling. Manuka Honey and the standardization are rigorously tested and guarded in terms of the ability to label these products as such. It is sort of like getting Champagne from France as opposed to Sparkling White Wine, and so on. Research on Manuka Honey has indicated that it has very exceptionally high antioxidant/antibacterial properties, which are attributed to the MGO content (methylglyoxal). This seems to be mostly unique to New Zealand.
As far as the flavor and texture go, this product does taste like honey and is a bit thicker and creamier. If you were curious, it would be somewhat similar to if maybe there were pureed honeycomb in with the honey (more neutral tasting and thicker/creamier).
This type of honey is typically reserved for its medicinal properties, which is why it is standardized and priced as such. The product seems legit as far as I can tell.
