I've used totes umbrellas for years now, and they've always been solid quality. This umbrella is no different. I've wanted a two person umbrella for a while and this fit the bill.
I put it to the test by using it recently in some pretty gnarly weather from hurricane Helene, and it held up perfectly well. I think the vented portion does help it not fly out of your hand with strong winds. I was honestly surprised that it wasn't damaged at all. The metal frame is pretty thick and sturdy, especially for a compact umbrella. The auto open/close works as expected, and the 55 inch canopy comfortably fits 2 people. I hope to use this umbrella for years to come!

I was in need of a larger umbrella for when my kid decides to go puddle jumping so I got the large umbrella in blue. The color is a bit more muted than in the picture. When closed, it is large and not super portable but that's expected since it's for two people. It can still be thrown in a backpack or something but don't expect a super compact umbrella. The quality seems good- the open close function worked as expected and the metal seems sturdy. I appreciate that it's uv protecting too as sometimes I like using these to block the sun. Overall great umbrella as I'd expect with this brand.
