This is the second chair I purchased for a 2nd grandson. It has been 4,days and it hasn’t taken the full shape. I hope it does fill out fully but I am starting to doubt it. My first purchase of this chair filled out fully & looks great. This second purchase isn’t meeting expectations. It might be just luck to get a good quality shipment.

Surprised my the quality. No smell, sponges holding together is very sturdy and seems strong. My 2 year toddler cannot knock it over. It doesn't fall backwards and my toddler loves to sit here and read. The cover is washable which was important to me when shopping for these chairs! I would highly recommend this!

Bought this for my 2 year old’s Christmas present (she requested a pink chair).
Most of the reviews state how sturdy it is and manufacturer state after 12 hours it will form shape. One review warned against this, but was a single review among many excellent reviews.
Upon opening on Christmas Eve morning I noticed the spongy pieces were dirty or discoloured (see photos). Is this used or just poor manufacturing? The individual pieces are seperated by a cheap and thin piece of cloth – very cheap. The Sherpa is very cheap and not at all what we expected (some other reviews mention this).
After 24 hours, the material is extremely wrinkly still (a couple of reviews have mentioned). The inserts are VERY misshapen still. The back is very arched and the inserts don’t fit well together. We left 3 days and the back is still very arched and flimsy, and the base still does not fit properly. My daughter leaned back, the chair toppled backwards and she hit her head. I am extremely angry and frustrated about this. See photos after 24 and 72 hours.
I have contacted Amazon and have contacted the seller.
Do not buy. It’s a hazard and extremely poorly made.
Let’s see what the seller says and I will update accordingly.

Comes in a vacuum sealed bag so definitely open 24 hours before giving it to your little one! There is no smell, looks exactly as pictured, very sturdy foam, fabric is very soft and doesn’t shed. My grandson loves it. I would definitely buy it again and highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a toddler chair.

My daughter is 2 and loves this chair for reading. It's soft but sturdy, I've sat in it too and it held its shape. She loves to sit or lounge across it. Very comfortable, good purchase. The last toddler chair we had was stiff and hard to clean. No issues with this so far. I wish they made an adult sized one 😆

The plastic lining very cheap….so thin it ripped as I tried to pull apart Velcro….
Not happy as a customer
But my grand-daughter cried she wanted to sit on it before 12 hours as instructed….an excited GD a very disappointed grandmother
