Not as good as some pet friendly ice. I wont name them since that would be rude on this review. Pricey. Does work but you have to put in more effort to break the ice down, doesnt melt as good as some. Pet friendly ice is expensive and this one is decent. A 3 i think is fair due to cost and use.

Always looking for pet-friendly ice melter. This did not seem to bother my dog's paws. I also liked because it works and seems to dry the sidewalk and disappear vs some other melts that leave that slimy residue. A little seems to go a long way. It might be more costly if using on a driveway- I just use on the stars and sidewalks. Just bought another bag.

It does what it says. Melts the ice pretty good and it could prevent the snow and ice stick to the ground. Haven’t noticed anything discoloration yet. Don’t have a pet, so I don’t know if it’s pet friendly or not. Draw back is it has some sort of white pebbles in the product which doesn’t melt and sticks to the ground / driveway and it’s kind of a pain to clean up.

My dog was not able to walk on it at all. This seems to be a fine product as far as an ice melter.
But I have a dog and as soon as he got outside on it, we were getting in the car, he froze with his paw in the air. It was a real problem to get him into the car as I had scattered it on the entire surface.
Perhaps it doesn’t INJURE the animal, but it still is clearly painful.
If you have a dog you might look further.
