About this item
- FEEL GOOD EVERYDAY SOCKS. These socks will help keep you comfortable on your everyday adventures. Loaded with features and premium design, you can always feel confident, whether you're running the morning errands or going out with friends.
- ZERO CUSHION. Made with a minimal layer between your foot and shoe, these low profile merino wool everyday socks for men and women are ideal when you need a snug fit without any extra bulk.
- CREW SOCKS. Featuring an over the ankle, mid-calf crew fit that prevents chafing from your shoes, these versatile socks can be worn throughout all seasons and are the perfect pair for low, mid and high top sneakers.
- WHY MERINO WOOL? Thinner and softer than regular wool, it's easy to wear next to skin. Each fiber transports sweat away as a vapor, helps cancel out smells (we checked), and regulates body temperature, to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.
- FUNCTIONAL FEATURES. Go far, feel good with thoughtful tech to keep you exploring comfortably — Shred Shield tech reduces wear from toes for lasting durability while a Virtually Seamless Toe with a flat knit seam offers added comfort.

The socks I received are very cream in color although the description says white and I wanted white socks! Also not thick at all, might return for this price

I absolutely love the Smartwool Everyday Anchor Line Zero Cushion Crew socks! They are incredibly comfortable and perfect for all-day wear. The material feels soft and breathable, keeping my feet dry and odor-free, even after long hours. I also appreciate the durability—these socks hold up well wash after wash. The fit is spot on, and they don’t slip down or bunch up throughout the day. Whether I'm at work, hiking, or lounging at home, these socks are a great choice. Highly recommend for anyone looking for high-quality, versatile socks!

Good fitting socks, great materials. Only complaint is the rim of the sock seems to curl in on itself

Smartwool did two things to these socks that are terrible.
1. it changed the size of the sock by at least 20% to the small side. I have been wearing the Anchor Line no cushion sock, which, until now, was (IMHO), the best merino no cushion sock on the market. I wear a large. When I put on the newest version of the sock it was super-tight. I matched it up to the other Anchor Line socks I have it is at least 20% smaller in size. So, not only is the sock too tight based on the sizing, the size guide is off/wrong. Typical of a large company like VF Corp, which owns Smartwool, to make a change to juice more profit out of an item without informing the consumer, or, without considering how existing customers have come to expect and rely on a brand for consistency in quality, performance, and fit. This misses on the fit mark completely. Of course I can always 'size-up' now…but, that misses the point. I have come to expect consistency out of the brand. That leads me to point 2.
2. Smartwool used to put its cool little guy logo on the bottom of the sock on the foot. That was great. It now moved the logo to the back of the sock. It is a terrible placement for those of us that don't want anything to interfere with the solid look of the sock up top. Sometime I wear these socks with hiking boots or sneakers with shorts, and I don't want a logo on my sock…it totally detracts from the finished look of the sock. I ordered another pair with a nice design and the logo totally takes away from the design of the sock. Again, another misguided branding decision likely by a designer that thought it was cool branding but totally missed the mark on how consumers use the sock and probably more importantly, WHY the consumer likes the sock.
Smartwool has totally degraded the Anchor Line of socks for the two reasons above, and I think, degraded the Smartwool branding by putting its logo so obtrusively on the top back part of all the socks. It was great when that little guy was on the sole.
Maybe Smartwool hired the woman that blew up the Bud Light brand to do its marketing. Too bad, these socks used to be great.

I found this socks to be very disappointing . I take a 6 1/2 shoe size , so i was pretty surprised they just about fit me. I found that only after a couple of washing the socks looked old and worn. The wool itself does not absorb odors, which is great, but the fit and look make them feel like I had them for years . I bought two pairs and they do fit into all my shoes …. but i would not buy more.
