I ordered this to supplement my breastfeeding as my baby needs more milk than I can produce. My baby has generally tolerated most baby formulas well and she has no problem drinking this baby formula as well. I like this baby formula because it dissolves well and it is the most premium version of this brand, which makes me feel good about being able to provide the best formula I can for my baby. This powdered formula also dissolves really quickly with water, which makes it easy to make a bottle really quick if my baby is still fussy and needing more milk.
I do also need to like to mention that when my formula arrived, the OUTER YELLOW SEAL WAS BROKEN. After I saw this, I was actually quite annoyed (and somewhat concerned) because the seal is supposed to provide an extra level of assurance to the customer that the formula has not been tampered with after it leaves the manufacturer. I carefully inspected the inner seal, as well as the foil top to ensure that it was completely sealed (which it was) but then also made 4 ounces of formula to test for myself (I drank baby the first batch of baby formula) to ensure that it did not cause any tummy discomfort or negative symptoms for myself. After 48 hours, I felt fine and only then did I feel comfortable with preparing this formula for my baby.
I am unsure if the seal is broken while it is at the Amazon facility or if the seal is broken during the shipping process, but this is a real concern for many parents, especially because baby formula is expensive and needs to be safe for babies to consume. Just as you would not purchase a partially opened box of cereal, or seal that is broken on a jar of jam at the grocery store, I definitely would not have picked up a broken sealed baby formula at the store if I could help it.
The Similac Pro-Advanced baby formula is a great product and alternative to breastfeeding, but for some parents, if the seal is broken, the contents might not be trusted to be safely consumed by their babies.

This formula is the premium Similac mixture and includes 2’-FL and other items which are meant to reduce likelihood of respiratory infections.
We have been supplementing our daughter with formula for a while now; she doesn’t seem to notice the difference between this and the Kirkland formula we’d been using – we are happy with the smooth transition.
I did a little research – apparently 2’-FL is naturally occurring in mother’s milk and at least one study has shown large reduction in respiratory infections with 2’-FL in formula (I’m unsure how good the study was).
I received my formula in August 2024; the best before date is June 2025. The formula was made in the USA.

Not a bad price point at all. Obviously not great, but not bad either. Worked well, the baby didn't seem to notice any difference. There was no additionally burping, frothing, or vomiting. Easy to use as well!

I recently switched to Similac Pro-Advance Step 2 for my toddler, hoping for something close to breast milk in nutrition and taste. It claims to be gentle on the stomach, and I’d say it lived up to that. My little one drank it without fuss, which is always a win in my book—no scrunched-up faces or dramatic rejections.
Mixing the powder was straightforward, and it didn’t clump up or have a weird smell like some other formulas we’ve tried. I would say this is a heavy formula, my baby’s usually drink 4 ounces of milk but with the formula he only drink 3 ounces per feeding. So far so good doesn’t have any issues with the formula.Additionally with the subscription I saved $10 so it’s a great deal. Better to order it from Amazon than going to the store as Amazon can have it delivered the next business day. Very convenient.
