A Canadian (verified owner) –
good toilet paper for your septic system
claims to be low lint which can kill your system – seems to be on the more plush side and as such takes longer to break down
a little pricey but having a sick septic system makes for some bad times at the cottage
overall nice paper

This product is very expensive compared to others, but after using it for almost five months I have to admit that it is worth the higher price for these reasons:
1. It feels soft. I recall when we first started using it that it felt different from other brands, but I can't even remember what the difference was.
2. It is strong. Other brands I have used fall apart as you are using them, which makes you use even more. This one has never fallen apart; no bad surprises, even when using just two squares.
3. It lasts a lot longer than others. Once you get used to how strong it is, you will find yourself using less. On top of that, each roll has nearly twice the number of sheets as other so-called "double rolls". When you put those two together, I figure these rolls last 2-4 times longer than other brands. We have a big family, and my best estimate is that these are lasting about 3x longer per roll than any other brand. If I divide the price by three, then the cost is about the same as other brands.
4. It is 100% recycled, which makes your conscience feel good.
5. It does not cause any problems in the sewer pipes. Our house is old and has small-ish pipes. We were having troubles with the pipes becoming clogged every couple of months. I wondered if using these would help, and so far we have not had any problems.
So overall, yes it is expensive, but I recommend these and will keep using them in our home.

I am finding environmentally friendly bathroom tissue hard to find in my regular grocery store these days, so good to be able to stock up. Nice quality, no complaints.

Great product that caused no irritation to sensitive skin (unlike standard supermarket brands), but suddenly not available to purchase in Canada. Disappointing.

Super thin, not at all soft. I am using more than twice as many sheets as before, with another brand. Don't know if the quality has nosedived: it's the first time I've purchased this product, and will also be the last.

I am reading some reviews that say this is shredding and is not strong. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have been a Cottonelle customer as I found it fairly strong, but eventually I realized it was leaving “shreddies” behind. I tried Charmin and am happy with that but I wanted to give this a go as we are on septic and I also wanted a tissue that was recycled. I have not investigated further to see if their claims are are legit, but it IS strong and I do not go through it any faster than another brand.

It's not the softest toilet paper, but it's not at all linty, which is what I care about.

Hard to find in stores, nice to be able to buy online. It's not the thickest and softest but if you care about where your products come from it's well worth buying this brand.

I've been using this toilet paper for years now and appreciate it. Knowing it’s made from recycled materials makes me feel so much better about my environmental impact. It’s soft, durable, and works just as well as traditional toilet paper, but with the bonus of being eco-friendly. I appreciate the commitment to sustainability without sacrificing quality. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to make a greener choice. Help save some trees.

I've been using this Toilet paper for around 8 years now and I have to say it is literally the best toilet paper made from recycled materials. Any other one I have tried is hard and harsh and doesn't hold up well. This one is just like new paper and is still reasonably soft. Because of its strength and performance; we only use around 90 rolls a year for a house of 5 people. Really great overall! Will keep buying this for the foreseeable future. Definitely worth it and doesn't make me feel bad if Toilet paper is used since I am not bulldozing trees for it.

Okay–this isn't the very softest toilet paper out there, but it definitely isn't the harshest either. A major brand talks in their ad about "pieces left behind", and I've actually experienced that situation more with softer, premium, virgin-paper brands. This paper is made with recycled fiber, so it isn't a brilliant white color (bleached-white toilet tissue isn't good for the environment or for your body). As an example–I also use TP as facial tissue during the cold/flu season–this is soft enough on a sensitive nose but doesn't fall apart when you are blowing (anybody else realize how difficult it is to write politely about certain body functions? LOL)
I love the Subscribe and Save option so I never run out and don't have to haul toilet paper (a lightweight but bulky item) home on the bus. The pricing per sheet is certainly comparable to store offerings.
So, what's not to like? It's easy on the budget, easy on the environment, and easy on the body parts…that's worth 5 stars in my book!

I've been using this exclusively for several years now. It's thick and absorbent and I like that it's 100% recycled. I also buy their paper towels, also good quality.
Repeat repeat buyer.
