It’s a pretty good veggie choppers comes a lot of accessories. Easy to install however some of the plate is how hard to get it out . Also try not use it to cut carrot. After one use, the carrot color stain got stuck on the chopper and unable to wash it off .

Started out great. But have had it now for about 2 years and it isn’t as sharp any more and one of the inserts like completely broke- the metal in the insert like broke and all came apart. The other inserts don’t chop great any more.

I was worried that this was just going to be a piece of cheap junk, I'm glad it turned out to be much sturdier than I thought. It also turned out to be much sharper than I thought which is a good thing unless, like me you're very klutzy. I highly recommend you use the glove that is provided in the package otherwise it works fantastic and I would completely recommend it.

Well I wish that it was a little bigger but it works really well. I would recommend excellent product it took hours of chopping veggies, I cook for 3 room and board and cut a lot of veggies and normally it would take 1 hr to 2hrs but had it done within 30 minutes.

Overall it's good and definitely works for chopping, which was the primary use I needed it for. I have psoriatic arthritis and chopping up all the veggies, potatoes specifically, for my homemade soup was getting to be difficult. So that's why I was looking for a chopper. This chopper has definitely made that easier. It worked well for potatoes, although you do still need to slice them first if you want your pieces in cubes, which I do for my soup. It also worked well chopping the carrots too. I was worried carrots would be too hard, but they weren't. The chopper cut right through them. Chopping up tomatoes and black olives for a different dinner also worked well, except these softer veggies tended to stick more to the blades and was a bit more of a mess left on the chopper. It still chopped them well enough but cleaning up was harder, even using their little brushes supplied, it was still hard getting all the black olives and tomato mess off the blades.
The slicer wasn't as easy. I tried slicing celery and with it's stringy-ness, it didn't fully cut through all the "strings'. Most of the celery sliced well, but there was just some mess left behind. And the back and forth, back and forth of the slicer was more work. I think it's almost just as easy to slice celery with a knife. I may try the slicer with other veggies and hopefully will see better results with veggies that aren't stringy.
So, I probably won't be using this much for slicing but I will be certainly using it for chopping, which was the main reason I got it. Overall I'm happy, especially that it cut through the harder veggies of potatoes and carrots… but it didn't really blow me away.

Makes salsa and other chopped dips so much easier. I don’t know if I’d pull it out just to chop an onion, but if you’re chopping vegetables for soups or making salsas or canning, it is a huge timesaver. Plus you have more even cuts. I have used it for onions, potatoes, peppers and tomatoes. I tried to use it to chop cooked sausage patties, but that didn’t work out well. It’s pretty sturdy, but I wouldn’t use it for hard squashes.

We've been using this chopper set for almost a year now and we absolutely love it. I principally got it because I hate to cut onions, and it has made a huge difference in how often I want to use fresh onions in my dishes. We have also successfully used it too diced potatoes and other vegetables. The mandolin works well and I appreciated the slice resistant glove that came with the set. For grating, it is at a slightly awkward angle compared with a box style grater, but it works well enough if you just want to do a small amount. Easy to clean, all the pieces go in the dishwasher without issue. In a year of regular use we have not had any breakage or failure of any of the parts. Overall very happy and satisfied, recommended.

I LOVE to chop/cut my own veggies…. then I broke my arm. This was a help for folks that were helping me w/ cooking… and as I was getting better… it was a huge help. Now, I am a convert, I do use this gadget. Love the different sizes to cut veggies. Be careful, the blades are very sharp… I did cut myself.
Do be sure to pre-cut veggies so that they are not too large to go through the chopper. I did have some items that were too large and they can get stuck.
The cleaning tools are immensely helpful to keeping your blades clean.
I bought it b/c of all the add ons. I just haven't gotten to use them, yet. With that said, I would still purchase this version… I will eventually get to the additional gadgets!
