I love this extra thick mat for the comfort of my tailbone, wrists and knees when doing floor exercises. Note that when doing standing poses, a thin mat is better for balance. If you'll be mostly doing yoga on your feet, then you may be wobbly on this cushy mat.
The colour is beautiful.
The elastic strap is too flimsy to stay in place, so the mat won't sit safely on your shoulder. You'll need to get a proper strap if carrying the mat is a major concern.
People often lament that the foam breaks down on these thick mats, and that's true for this one. That's the result of exposing the material to body oils and sweat, and stretching the fibres. The sponge will start to wrinkle in the first few weeks of use.
The foam bounces back from the weight (mass+pressure) like memory foam would.
It's a decent mat for Pilates and yoga, but it'll challenge your balance significantly in standing poses.

A very comfortable mat if you have sore knees or back. Any postures where knees & back are involved it's great. It is so padded that it is a little more difficult to do balance postures easily on it.

This mat is very nice and high quality. I use it for average-intensity pilates workouts and it works perfectly. I was hesitant to buy it first as there were some negative reviews saying it tears easily and I assume that is true if you do high-intensity workouts on them, but then again that is the case with many yoga mats, especially the thicker ones. The mat did come with a small burn hole on it and I requested a replacement. The replacement was delivered in less than a day and it was in perfect condition. Very happy with my purchase.

The quality of the mat is good. It's really thick and comfortable, especially if someone has a knee problem. Color and size is great.
There are 2 dislikes however:
1. It stinks so much! It took me two months to air it out and wash it, but it still smells really strong ( bad plastic smell). I don't know what to do anymore. I started using it, but the smell really bothers me.
2. It makes funny, squeaky noises every time you change the position. Its funny, but its also annoying, especially considering how quiet it is usually in yoga classes.

Very squish which is nice if you are using it for mild floor workouts. Does NOT hold up for use in yoga. the mat stretches when you are pushing it in two directions like when doing downward dog or warrior 2. It is also VERY slippery with sweat so if you are doing hot yoga this is an absolute NO GO.

Bought a “used” one that looked like box had been opened and promptly returned. No hint that it had ever even left the box. Perfect condition.
The mat itself is thick enough to offer some actual cushion without being so thick that it makes balancing difficult. I thought 1/2” wouldn’t be a big difference compared to the standard thin mats, but this is such a difference maker!

I appreciate the simple design and the color is true to the images promoted. This is my first yoga mat purchase and I wanted one that was thick, yet manageable to carry around and after a few usages, I am satisfied with its quality. I’ve used it 3-4 times now, and the mat is finally starting to flatten out. If you sweat a lot, it will be slippery, but I purchased a yoga mat towel separately to combat that and it works great together! The cushion is comfortable, and the carry strap is relatively easy to slip on.

Omg it’s so much better than what I thought it would be. It has a weird smell at first but not bad at all. I cut it by accident opening the box so be careful opening the box that it comes in!!!! Super soft and cozy and stays put on my laminate floors. It’s thicker than what I thought it would be too. Just wish I didn’t cut it by accident lol but it’s still fine!!!

Great quality yoga mat! Very comfortable and cushioned on my hard wood floor. I love that it comes with a carry strap. It does take a minute to roll out completely but after some use it is broken in. It does have a little plastic/rubber smell but goes away when aired out and wiped down. Love the design as well!
