This is ok for the occasional use which will now be my norm. I used to live on a corner property and in a different climate. THEN, I was out for hours chipping packed snow and ice from the sidewalk and driveway. Now, I just have about 25 feet of sidewalk which is a cinch to clear.
Given its price (and current coupon) its definitely a good deal on amazon. I don’t see many on here like it that would cost less.
So, if you need the occasional scrape to bet up pack snow and ice that a shovel won’t do, I think its a good buy.
HOWEVER, this will not replace a robust scraper for big jobs. The first problem is just a consequence of ordering online and packing – and thats the multipiece design that is not as sturdy as a one piece pole. Obviously its had to ship something 5 feet long , so i get it..
Also, if i’m snapping away for 1/2 hour or longer, I for sure want a D handle so I don’t get weird shoulder or forearm injuries.
Good for me, just know you own purpose!

Note: I only used this as an ice scraper. Given the size of the blade, it boggles my mind anyone would try to shovel snow with this.
This is marketed as a 3-in-1 tool that can scrape ice, shovel snow and cut weeds. As noted above, I've only used it to scrape ice. It was very easy to put together and a nice aspect of it is that you can adjust the length based on your needs, although it's not telescopic so the the lengths are preset. It's light and comfortable to handle and I didn't notice any quality issues when using it.
However, I think this will be my backup ice scraper to my actual ice scraper. The reason is that this is lighter than the other one (which has a solid wooden handle) so more effort has to be used to scrape tougher ice.

I’ve been using this snow shovel for our small front path, the path isn’t very wide, and larger shovels might accidentally damage the plants nearby, so this size works better for us. The sharp front edge is useful for breaking up ice, and I like the long handle so that I can use it while standing upright, which is easier on my lower back. There’s also a smaller shovel with a silicone edge included, which has been handy for clearing ice from windowsills and outdoor tables. For the season, it’s been getting regular use and has been helpful for light snow and ice removal around the house.

The manganese steel shovel is made from 2 different thickness to add more strength and rigidity to the spade. I like that it can be broken down for storage or just so it will fit for transportation in my vehicle. I measured mine to be 53 3/16 inches long which is a little short of the 53.5 inches advertised but still a spade for trimming the sidewalk or for clearing a snow and ice. Good buy!

Ok I put this snow/ice scraper plus weed remover thing to the test. I don't like it, but I guess some people might.
For snow: I have far more snow than this thing could handle. The tiny, flat blade would take too long for my sidewalk and I wasn't attempting the drive way with this. Since you can adjust the size of the handle, you could hand this to your kid who wants to help while you use the real shovel. Same with ice, this tool can scrape up frozen spots and if you only have a small one this would be ok.
For weeds: This does ok for cutting down unwanted vegetation on paved surfaces on established seems where two pourings meet. It does significantly less well on pavement cracks with weeds growing up. The best use was on pavement with dead vegetation on it. That I would scrape up and move to a bucket easily.
This product makes a lot of claims, but doesn't live up to it's hype. If you want it for snow and live somewhere it actually snows, keep shopping.
