Honestly what professional wouldn't use this option to source a new pair of Felcos? Great price, reasonable shipping time and nice packaging. The price is right. I reside in a remote area. To purchase these locally I would of paid nearly double the price I paid here. These Secateurs are top quality. No messing around. What's great about them is the available replacement parts. Should the blades ever need changing etc. The little tool that comes with them is priceless. Definitely grab a holster that has a tab with a snap so to secure them on you when not in use. All true botanists have a decent pair of clean sharp clippers at their disposal at all times and these are them. That you don't want to lose as I did with my last pair and still crying about it. Glad I found these to replace my dear Felcos. Thanks a bunch of fresh cut roses.

To get the first thing out of the way, Felco has been making the best pruners on the market for a long time.
Now, this being said,
Just based on a "tabletop review", I can't help but notice some "cost saving" changes, compared to an older model.
The first (and most annoying) thing they changed, is the little lever that locks the pruner closed. The new one is a piece of stamped metal, that's quite hard to operate, especially with gloves.
Another disappointing thing is that you'd need specialized tools to change the blades, while for the old one all it takes is a Phillips screwdriver. (Replacement blades and spare parts for the old model are not available anymore, so if you plan to keep your pruner for a long time, buy blades and spare parts now, with your purchase of a new one)
The profiles are slimmed down, to save metal – but it doesn't make the pruner worse. It's a bit lighter but not more ergonomic (actually the handles of the old model provide better grip and make it easier to apply more force.)
Bottom line, it's probably the best pruner in it's class while wearing the badges of our times (to put it nicely… )

Using it for a few days it over branches up to 3/4'', I really appreciate the quality of the tool. Today, it is one of those rare tool one can change all the parts including the blades.

I use these clippers out in the country and there is nothing they can't do. The blades are always sharp and it's nice to handle. Much better than the big box brand versions that fail after a season. Well worth the extra money.

I researched so many shears (brands) before this purchase, and once I settled on the FELCO brand, I can say they do not disappoint! These are the perfect shears for small and mid-size bushes, and although a bit pricey, one you receive them and begin using them, you can appreciate the high quality product it is (and worth the price). I feel these may be the last pair of shears I'll ever need!

I went to an arts center a few years ago and they had sessions going on how to decorate your house for Christmas. A garden center did one on making a potter for your porch. The mand recommended Felco pruners as the best. I purchased another cheaper brand a few times since then. I got sick of every other year buying a new one. So I purchased this one. The best thing was it was for a left-handed person which I am and none of the other ones had that option. They are way sharper than any other ones I ever had. I used them to cut down all my garden plants for the winter and it was a breeze. Very happy with this purchase.

They feel good, cut good and there is nothing not to like except the price which is expensive, but they are good quality and they feel it. I would purchase again, but if they really are as good a quality as the manufacturer claim, then I should not need to buy a replacement.

Made pruning easy, good cuts with sharp blade.

These are fine quality pruners, and are intended for smaller hands. Apparently I have extra-small hands, because I couldn't comfortably reach the swiveling portion of the handle. I had to return them, and then ordered the Felco 14, which lacks the swiveling feature but fits my hand perfectly.
