Had to switch my cat from the PPP Sensitive formula because it's very high calorie; already a plus-size senior and sedentary, she was gaining even more weight. She loves this one! It's similar to Fancy Feast, only a smaller mince, which works great since she also has dental issues. Hoping her tummy troubles don't come back, but she's been on this all summer, and seems to be ok. I may order cat food from Amazon regularly; Chewy's Autoship program is not dependable.

Our family has a senior cat who has lost quite a bit of his sense of smell, turning him off most foods he is offered. He also struggles to chew most wet cat foods that are made of shredded meat. This food however had him running to his bowl to stuff his belly in seconds! We are so glad to have found a food he is wild for, and one that he can easily chew and digest!
PROS:
+ Excellent Flavor and Aroma: This scrumptious chicken shreds wet food smelled amazing as soon as the can was opened, the aroma reminding me of a rich chicken bisque. Our elderly cat with a limited sense of smell went wild for this food and ate rather quickly; faster than I've seen for other foods we've tried. The tantalizing aroma and flavor had him even licking the dish!
+ Soft Texture; Great for Older Cats: Our aging cat struggles to chew, but we did not see him struggling to power down this food. The shreds were of small bite-sized pieces and did not need to be cut or blended for him to enjoy. Unlike pate-styled foods which cause him to make a mess as he pushes it around, this shreds in gravy style appealed greatly to his palate while adding a bonus sauce to be used to soften his crushed kibble food.
+ Body-Healthy Bonus Ingredients: With ingredients for his digestive system, coat, brain, and kidneys, this food was great for our aging cat and got a nod of approval from his vet. Added Omega 3 and prebiotics in the food keep us from needing to squirt fish oils or sprinkle powders that our cat doesn't like. This food is one and done for our cat's supplementation.
CONS:
– Questionable Key Ingredients: Like most Purina wet cat foods, this product stars 'liver' (from which critter?), wheat gluten, and meat by-products (what meats?). It's not the healthiest food in terms of key ingredients and may not be the top picks for some cat owners, so please buy to your preference and discretion. Our senior cat however has such a difficult time eating, we were willing to settle for lower-quality ingrdients just to encourage him to eat. He seems to like this quite much.

Hands down the best reaction to wet food my two almost-year old kittens have had. They had been eating the seafood flavor for awhile and were lukewarm about it. Were on salmon flavor for awhile then meh. Tried chicken for the first time and they inhaled it – making slurping noises and licking the dish clean. Lots of meowing and talking afterwards. No smelly poop, upset stomach or any other issues moving from usual fish/seafood flavors to this. Clearly tastes great.
