I deliberately waited for about 2 weeks of using this brand before writing a review.
Pros: easily desolved in a glass of warm water; taste is fairly benign (not quite tasteless); slightly less expensive than Benefibre.
Cons: doesn't work quite as effectively as Benefibre (my preferred brand – recently taken off the market).
I will continue to use this unless/until Benefibre returns to the market.

I've been trying to avoid the fake aspartame stuff found in the other big brands. This product came up in my searches for just such a replacement. I was pleased to see that there was no aspartame in the product. The reviews seemed good too.
I can't really attest to the effectiveness of this product. I've been using it a few weeks now and have not noticed any positive (or negative) effects from using this. I'm hoping with time I should see some benefit, however, with the other brands, they usually work right away.
As for the claims of "dissolves well" and "taste free"; I call shenanigans on those claims! This does not dissolve well at all. It's better in hot fluids like coffee, but in cold water or juice you get lumps and clumps that don't dissolve. There is also a taste for sure. It's very noticeable in water but not as bad in juices or other drinks. You can also add it to food and I find that's the best way to not notice it.
Overall, it's not a cheap product and the claims are questionable. I will finish the package, however, I'm not sure that I'll be buying this again. We will see if there is any noticeable health benefit once the container is done.
Pros:
Good size for money
Large opening in container to easily grab product
Dissolves well in hot liquids
Cons:
Definitely has a flavor to it.
Doesn't dissolve well in cold liquids at all
No noticeable benefit to gut health

This stuff is great, there is no taste. I just add to my coffee in the morning easily mixes. No after taste and none left in the bottom of my mug. I have put it in my mug before the coffee and it still mixes easily once the coffee is added on top of it. I have been using it for a while and am thrilled with my results. Doctor also agrees as I was instructed to take fibre everyday for an issue I have.

After doing a lot of research, I thought I'd try Inulin. It's a PREbiotic so it apparently feeds the good bacteria in your GI tract and also lowers your "bad" cholesterol while bumping up your "good" cholesterol. What I liked in the other reviews is that it is tasteless. A good thing for me since I'm not a fan of chickory. According to the label, you don't have to put it in liquid and drink it. You can put the powder in whatever you're cooking, it doesn't break down and it isn't supposed to change the taste of your meal. If it doesn't work as it says it will, I'll be back to edit this review! ***Here's my edit. I've tried it twice, once a scant teaspoon in my food while it's cooking (sauce) and once in a glass of water. I didn't taste it in the food but it does have a mild flavor and a mildly slick consistency in water. In food after eating I felt a little nauseated, maybe it was the food? The second time I was "lie on the sofa and don't move" nauseated. It's probably just me because I have a truckload of allergies/sensitivities. No one else reported this in their reviews but I thought you should know it's a possibility.

Us low carbers sometimes find it hard to get enough fiber in our diets. For example, a breakfast of bacon & eggs & coffee is great for a low carb meal, but there's NO fiber in it.
So I make omelets… couple of eggs, + 1/4 cup of water with a teaspoon of inulin and PRESTO! i've now got 1 1/2 grams of fiber to start my day. It's not too much to upset your system but it's sure better than none at all.

It doesn't taste like anything, you can't see it when stirred into water, and it doesn't change the taste of what it's in.

This blends like a dream into my morning tea latte. No noticeable taste. Have purchased many times, always satisfied with it.

This is easy to use though it does not dissolve as easy as advertised in cold liquids. This is my first time trying but so far I am very happy.
Thank- you
