Purchased to be able to cook roast potatoes on the BBQ and get rid of aluminum foil. Already plans for breads and deep dish apple pie as a Dutch oven.

Excellent cast iron cookware. Food, cooked in it, is much more flavorful compare to cooked in non stick skillet. I realized a cast iron skillet requires a low heat setting as a medium heat setting makes it too hot and causes food to stick to a skillet. Also, one lady mentioned she adds little bit water to skillet and puts it on low heat to dislodge stuck food. It works very well. After couple minutes I just scrape lightly bottom of the skillet with a silicone spoon, while it is on a stove, and all stuck bits of food dislodge. No need to scrape. Great quality cast iron cookware! happy to recommend it to over customers!

I purchased these about 8 months ago, and after the first use I wanted to give them a 5 star review, but after reading other reviews claiming rusting and poor quality I decided to wait.
8 month later, these cast iron pans are the best choice I've made in the kitchen. They are durable, versatile, and reliable. Please note, they do require a little bit of effort to clean and dry them properly, and you should probably do some research on how to cook properly with them; but if you treat these pans correctly they will return the favor.
I have had no issues with the quality of these pans, no rusting or degradation after using them multiple times per week for the last 8 months. I have cooked everything from loaves of bread, to steaks, and everything baked mac & cheese in between. They function perfectly both on the stove and in the oven, and can be used as two separate pieces or as a lid for the other piece.
Strongly recommend, just please do your research on use and care and they will last for a long time

This is the best purchase i ever did for cookwear.
Super cheap, long lasting and will never go bad if you keep it clean
For cleaning i wash it and dry with towel and then put some oil on it with paper and let it sit in my oven just with the lowest setting ( for few mins)or just with the light on ( do this everytime when u use it). Its a good investment.

This is a really nice cast iron Dutch oven. I have another cast iron pan that's a "brand name" and I really can't see any difference in quality between that one and this. The little silicone handles are useful also. This is a very good item for a very reasonable price. Also, it arrived quickly.
