Are you using the right strength of NICODERM Patch?

21 mg of nicotine

This strength is recommended for those smoking 10 or more cigarettes per day. It is the highest strength in this format.

• If you smoke 10 or more cigarettes a day, use this Weeks 1 through 6.

14 mg of nicotine

Lighter smokers (less than 10 cigarettes per day) are recommended to start on Step 2 (the lower 14mg dose).

• If you smoke less than 10 cigarettes a day use this Weeks 1 through 6.
• If you smoke 10 or more cigarettes a day use this Weeks 7 and 8.

7 mg of nicotine

Following completion of 14mg patch use, choose the lowest dose of 7mg.

• If you smoke less than 10 cigarettes a day use this Weeks 7 and 8
• If you smoke 10 or more cigarettes a day use this Weeks 9 and 10
