This is a different salt lamp. You have to partially assemble it. Remove all the salt chunks, since it's not a solid piece like most salt lamps. Install the wiring and lightbulb into the base and put all the salt back into the fixture. It's pretty nice when it's on though. I love the base as it's kind of rustic looking with a wicked glow. And if you need salt for cooking, it's already in chunks! I'm kidding but I don't see why not. Quality of the base is surprisingly study because I accidentally dropped it with the salt in it and it didn't break.

Came with the interior box damaged like it didn't fully fit (exterior box was fine, no evidence of rough handling), top plastic wrap was broken, and there were two shattered bulbs. Lamp looks nice, but it's frustrating that it came with the shattered bulbs.

This light is heavy. I like the decorative look to it. Will match different decors. I like the glow and look of it. The dimmer gives it a different look.

This is a nice lamp! It is nice quality and a lot of salt rock! It comes with two bulbs! I like the way the light shines through the wood! It does have a dimmer switch on the cord! I will enjoy using this in my living room! Great Value!
