My mom drank tonic water for years for her cramps, and being of the old generation they run like camels hardly drinking anything all day long. I get them, either upon waking up or excessive standing/cold surfaces, due to diabetes medication, varying from the muscles that seem to painfully freeze up (sorry I don't have any technical terms to use), to those hard contractions in my calf. I have not had the latter lately, but the former often, I believe from lactic acid not being flushed out. So if I have a situation where I'm not drinking enough, I will use one of these to compensate during the day. And at night, do the same before sleeping. They definitely work right at the time of cramp, pretty awesome. Follow the directions as I think quinine should still be consumed in limited quantities, but if you're only using them sporadically, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I used these for leg cramps at night and They are just terribly expensive.
I recommend you do not buy them as it’s just a money grab in my opinion.
I have bought these before at a health food store and they were not this expensive.
I am very disappointed with the product and especially the price.
