I purchased this Lagostina skillet along with other other Lagostina frying pans. The other pans are excellent and very easy to clean. I sued the skillet in the over once. When I went to clean it, it has started showing small rust marks all over the bottom and around the exterior sides. I paid a lot of money for it and was shocked when it is considered such a high quality product. Now I am reluctant to order another one.

I own a few Lodge pieces, and they’re great when you know how to use raw cast iron and care for it. But this Lagostina 12 inch skillet (the older model) is my favorite and most used on a day to day basis.
The longer handle is awesome for moving it with your barehands, it’s deep, not too thick, looks great and is pretty much indestructible. The only “negative” is that the angle where the bottom meets the sides is a bit sharp. Food doesn’t slide out as smoothly from it as it would in other rounder edged skillets. But realistically it never bothered me.
