Sporty kids need sporty things. Looking forward to taking this camping or to the local soccer pitches in the summer.
This comes with a lot of stuff… but I'll be honest, the nets are the part that works great. Easy to setup and big enough for a small scrimmage, these nets seem to be pretty sturdy.
The other pieces seem like a bit of an afterthought… or perhaps you can consider them a bonus. The work, but they aren't the greatest of quality. My neighbor has a similar kit and it came with a couple of extras but you can feel/see the difference in quality of the extra pieces. With that said, most of those extra pieces are likely to just find their way to the, "Never Used", pile.
You are likely getting this for the nets and portability and that's exactly what you get. Good quality, portable nets, use your own quality ball and play the day away. This really lets you transform any backyard (or large basement) into a small soccer pitch.

Being small, the goals help to shrink down the soccer field to backyard size. Being so light and compact, though, they are easy to store and to transport.
Also included is a 20‘ agility ladder which is of surprisingly great quality. It looks identical to the 20’ agility ladders that are sold separately for adults. Purchased alone, these cost between $20 and $25+.
The price for the entire is set only $77 before any coupons or discounts. This makes it the best value out there for a set of 6’ x 4’ goals with a good agility ladder. If you do go cost-comparison shopping, be sure that what you are comparing has goals that are 6’ x 4’ like these, not 4’ x 3’ which look identical in the advertising.
These goals are designed for soccer but why not let younger kids make up their own games and ways to use this? Just divide up any number of kids or toddlers into two teams, put all the kids between the goals with a lot of balls of any kind, and tell the kids to get the balls into the nets with their teams.

Beware that these are quite heavy, so maybe a bit harder to transport ! But they are fantastic for the purpose, with a sturdy built and easy to assemble and to disassemble once you get the hang of the folding process. The quality of the materials is good, the goals are well stabilized by the 12 stakes included and the fabric seems very hard to tear, promising many fun practices!
I like that this set is complete, so one can gift it and make sure that the kid has everything they need to get started. There's a good quality size 3 ball with an ok pump (or you can use your own as it's a standart air valve) and training cones, as well as a very useful agility ladder that is easily adjustable to allow any size kid to practice appropriately.
I like the orange as it's visible and bright, even when there is a lot of sun getting in one's eyes. Makes it easier for kids to focus on where to shoot the ball.
All in all, a great starter kit that offers good quality and an excellent value for the price!

The nets came well-packaged. They're bigger than I expected (because I stupidly didn't check the size in the description) but that wasn't an issue at all. Neither my husband nor I had the opportunity to play soccer when we were growing up – we're that old, LOL – but our kids played and, as necessity would dictate, we both ended up coaching, all the way through their school years, including at the high school level. So when our grandchildren came along, we were thrilled that they also came to love soccer. Now that we have two very young grandsons, we want to give them the same opportunities the other children had. But they live farther out in the country, so we have to make sure they have the equipment to practice and play right in their own yard. This starter set is just the way to get them out there kicking and passing. The goals themselves were fairly easy to put together and all the accessories make for well rounded practice and play sessions. They're a bit young yet to master the agility ladder, but that will be useful in time. I'm a big proponent of practice cones for learning to cut and maneuver, although that's also a few years down the way for these young ones. The ball is pretty basic and doesn't have the best response, but it will be fine until they graduate to a size 4.
This set has a couple of shortcomings, which are not deal breakers but could use improvement: The ground staples to secure the goals are a bit short for yards that get watered frequently; 8" should be the minimum. The strap across the front of the goal frame is a trip hazard for little ones who want to run in to the goal to retrieve the ball. That could be eliminated with an even longer ground staple at the front corners. The main thing I wish the manufacturer had not cut corners on is the shock cords running through the poles – they are very thin and they will eventually break, and when they do, they are going to be a royal pain to replace. Many users would just give up at that point and buy new goals. For my part, I try to make things last, so I hate to see something that is almost designed to self-destruct.
Otherwise, this set is lots of fun and will get our grandsons ready for team play.

Upon opening, this kit has an odd smell. Like all the smells you find in several stinky packages mixed together. Inflatable mattress, memory foam pillow, wet paint, and offshore plastics. It’s hard to describe other than unpleasant. For outdoor gear it’s a non-issue unless you open it indoors as I did.
Goal setup was a bit tricky. Definitely have that setup BEFORE getting kids involved. There are 4 frames that are pre-linked and pop right together. One frame goes through the color portion of the net, and one goes through the base black portion. Easier said than done as the frame will pull apart easily in the sleeves. Once 2 frames are stuffed into one net, angle brackets link those at a 90 degree angle with a strap to maintain width. 4 ground stakes try to keep it in place.
What I didn’t initially realize was all the add-ons that would be included. This comes with a ball, pump, agility ladder, cones, and a duffle bag. I got in when the listing was fresh, so it’s more clear now. Oh well, happy I had a glow ball as well since my kids weren’t too thrilled with sharing at first.
As for functionality, it worked well. The ball inflated to an appropriate round shape and held air. The goal could take some decent kicks, but did not hold up well to my 2nd grader trying to camp inside the goal. The strap in front is a trip hazard and the stakes don’t stay in the dirt when hit by a tiny person. The rest is just plastic for marking the ground for practice, and that’s hard to mess up.
Overall a decent kit to get little ones interested in soccer/football. Worth picking up if you have the space.
