All weather usage
Safe View half car cover is made of thick and heavy duty PEVA with aluminum lamination as the surface and soft cotton inside. The cover is long term waterproof, anti UV and it's great for outdoor use.

It perfectly fits Audi Q5, covers all the window, and keeps it clean during the winter snow. I don't have to brush anymore or use the chemical to remove the snow. It needs a couple of tries to get along with it. The best part is it is steady and firm irrespective of the wind power because the ends are tied to the tier rim.

I like the size of this cover. It covers entire head lights and tail lights. Good thing to protect plastic parts from UV. The elastic on the short edge works well too. 8 hooks came in the separate bag and I can put them on the cords in the length I want. This cover is lined with thin soft layer. Some stitches are rough but I don't think it's a problem. The material is thin which is great for putting it on and removing it off, folds small when it's stored.

I'm mostly happy with it. The wind does get in under the cover even when the cover is tied down flat on my car, and blows up the cover. I was worried the over would blow away so for now I have pinched the front side parts of the cover into my front doors to prevent the wind from picking it up off the car. I'll have to find strong magnets to help keep it in place in the winter and rainy days so my car doesn't get wet inside. Otherwise great product.
Side note: not magpie proof. Darn birds tore a hole in the middle of it, I don't know why they were on it in the first place.. teaching their young to fly maybe.. I bought a replacement cover and will look at getting some magpie deterrents.

I’ve only used it a few times so far it’s a bit tricky at first figuring out how it goes on but once you get the hang of it it’s not too bad. It has built in mirror covers too! Takes a bit to put on but saves from scraping the windows off especially when you are in a hurry.

The length was pretty fit for my acura mdx but for the width not much because i have to fight and stretch before i put on to other side of the side mirror. Also the strap recommend to seller include with buckle clip type much easier not to tie up

Cover is not as described. I wish I had opened it sooner so I could return it. The straps are elastic not nylon as stated in description. There are no hooks or clips to attach the cover to the car. I had to tie slip knots to the door handles to secure. The material is thin and not water proof. Will be interesting to see how it holds up in the snow.

Update Nov 2020:
I used the first one with my Jeep Patriot for 2 years, until the car got totaled. Upgraded to a 2019 5th gen 4runner, purchased the same size which has gone up in last 2 years. Here’s the addition to the review on the second one:
The elastics on the doors feel more durable. Other straps are not elastic, so even sturdier to secure the cover in high wind. The mirror covers came with fluorescent tapes like I suggested in my first review!
It fits the 5th gen 4runner, but the sides are a tad shorter than what can cover the windows completely. So I have about half an inch showing on the windows (see pics). It is still possible to open the doors without taking the cover completely off.
I would have made a big deal out of the shorter skirt length, but knowing this is the only option out here for half car cover designs, and how great the utility is, I am going use it. It has become indispensable on my car camping trips. I put it on my car at night for privacy and insulation. I wish the seller made a camping version with awning on one side!
Old review: Oct 2018: I work as an on site geologist in West Texas. So I am always on the run with my life packed up in the car. I try to keep the car clean and cool, as much as possible in the dusty, harsh desert weather. This cover fits my needs pretty well.
Pros: easy to put on, take down even in windy conditions. Folds fairly compact to just throw in the back of the car. Keeps the car more cool than standards reflectors (it covers the whole roof). Keeps some dust off the vehicle, though not all. You can access the doors, even without taking the whole cover down.
Cons: The tie strings could be stronger. I might have to replace them soon, considering how much the wind picks up here. The strings are only elastic, doesn't have an adjustable strap to tie them down harder if you need to. I wish it came with a compression sack (the kind of bag a sleeping bag comes with) to pack it more compact.
Tips for users: put a fluorescent sticker on one of the mirror bags. That way you know where to start. After putting on the mirror bag on one side, walk to the other side, put on the second mirror bag (this way the cover is secured from wind) and walk towards the back as you fold out the cover over the roof. After putting it on, pull out the wipers and put the front end of the cover under the wipers, to keep them secure in wind.

I’ve had my car cover since around June 2020. Purchased during Covid since everyone was working from home. It has protected my car from leaves, rain, and snow over the years. Today I tore the fabric pulling it trying to get melted snow (water) off. I will be purchasing again. Will also purchase buckles to help with the length of the straps. CONS: 1) the straps are too long and 2) I wish the windshield portion was a little longer. PROS: 1) great for all seasons, 2) doesn’t scratch the paint, 3) stays in place – as long as you use the straps
