I loved the regular Hiker GX socks, but I had to roll them down because the tops were too tight on my calves. These low cut ones are perfect! All the warmth of the original Hiker GX socks without the tight leg part. Excellent socks. Made in Canada, very high quality.

It is indeed a midweight wool sock that you can order according to your best fit size, unusual these days. I wore it all day and I was very pleased.

Last year I discovered "People Socks" and thought they were the best thing ever, and they
are a quality sock. Went back this spring for the ankle cut and they were sold out of my size.
Then by chance, i spotted these. I started reading reviews and one person said they are better
than People Socks. I can't speak for any but the ankle cut but for the money, they are the best
made, medium weight, most comfortable, well made socks so my feet have told me and they know!
I have neuropathy and quality socks and shoes are a must as i have constant foot pain. I came back
for 2 more packs so i'd have enough for the entire shorts and ankle sock season. They are lined
and not itchy at all. Went through the washer and dryer with no shrinkage and minimal pilling.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone I know. Ya still can't beat Made In America!
My only advice is I saw nothing offered larger than large. I am a size 12 double wide and the large
fit fine however i don't think they will expand much beyond that and still be comfy but I'm not sure?

I wear these riding my motorcycle in the summer with my waterproof boots to help absorb sweat and not stink up my boots. Seriously these are better than my REI socks, especially for the price. While REI are softer to the touch, these feel more durable and a bit thicker. No foot stink and I've been wearing them regularly for two months. About to go on a trip to Thailand and I'm about to buy two more sets for my hiking boots.

These socks are working for me so far. They stand up well against walking on hardwood floors. One pair does have a run on the top of it, but that may not be craftsmanship…not sure. These are BETTER than the People socks on Amazon. If they continue to hold up, I will buy more.
