The size is decent and covers a large portion of a queen sized bed.
I have two issues:.
1) the mat itself is not soft and I have to cover with a blanket or towel (one extra thing to clean!)
2) the mat shifts during the night which ends up not giving any coverage. The person would have to be a stationary sleeper. Not ideal for a child that moves all night.
Otherwise, It does protect the mattress from getting wet
The use is for a child that pees the bed nightly.

This may gives good coverage over a twin bed. We use this for our son who has occasional accidents and so far it’s been useful. My only complaint is that it does shift around which I wish I had paid more attention when ordering and purchased a non slip mat instead. Otherwise it’s been easy to clean .

I liked the size of this pad but it would not stay in place on the bed on top of mattress pad . As I put it vertically for the person whom would shift the sleep position to upper area of mattress so wanted more coverage from top to bottom . Should have used it horizontally over the bed . He scooched it out from under him and it was pushed away from him so wasn’t able to protect the bed because of the shifting of the location . . Will try the horizontal direction and maybe safety pin corners to keep in place . Overall a nice product .

Large enough to fit a large size of a single bed and protects the mattress. We put in under the fitted sheet but over the mattress cover so it did not slide. The bottom part is plastic so slides a bit. We hung outside to dry but can be tumble dried on low. Haven't tried as was concerned the plastic might eventually crack. Very happy.
