Though I was hoping to get the size and sturdiness of the wooden spoons that are in the ice cream treats in the stores, these did work for what we needed them for. Since we weren't using them in ice cream but in pudding shots, they did work as expected. For ice cream desserts I doubt they would be strong enough to scoop it.
