La primera diferencia es que tiene un sabor excelente sobretodo ensaladas o tomates. Con la sal normal a veces no parece salado o bien te pasas, con la flor de sal nunca pasa

The price is much better per gram than buying the small containers. It's a nice plastic bucket. This brand's granule size is a little small so it is perfect for deserts but I prefer the flaky kind for steak as it better retains its texture. Its also amazing for rimming a cocktail glass. Buying this huge size makes me feel better about using this as my regular salt on the table. If you are not familiar with this type of salt, this is a finishing salt. A waste to use for cooking and a ridiculous waste to use in soup or pasta water. Best to sprinkle in the finished product just before serving. Unlike regular salt, it's not very salty and the texture and flavor is best when it is on the surface of the food and not mixed in.

I ordered this to add to my pantry. I enjoy cooking and a friend introduced me to “finishing” salt. I have a variety of salts on hand but this type in a new addition. It’s milder in salt flavor and the large soft flakes make it easy to control the amount by finger sprinkling it onto whatever you are prepping. My first use for this was applying salt to porterhouse steak. These flakes melted into the meat perfectly after about 2 hours. The result was perfectly season succulent grilled steaks. We experimented by dropping some flakes on chocolate caramel ice cream. The result was yummy diy salted ice cream. Highly recommend. I have some other recipes where this salt will be perfect.
