I love Gotham Steel cookware that's what made me decide to buy this pot, the added benefit of being able to strain out water through the lid was an added bonus and this pot is the same size as the Gotham Steel 5 qt. dutch oven but it's cheaper in price. The handles seem to work great on the lid, I turned the pot upside down over my mattress in case the lid fell, lol, and the lid stayed put! It's a great multi-purpose pot. It does show on the cardboard that's attached to the pot to turn the little knobs on the handles counterclockwise so I'm just going to always do that, it probably is okay to turn them clockwise but there's obviously a reason why they're showing the arrows only going the one way. I love the little spouts on the sides of the pot. When I start cooking in this pot I will update my review. I think if you have any pasta lovers on your Christmas list this would definitely be a great gift item. I personally bought it for the size I wanted a 5 qt. pot but I think for myself personally if I'm making pasta I would use a smaller pot because I'm just cooking for myself and I always just spoon pasta out with a slotted spoon or I would just drain it into a colander but I think for larger families this would be great to make pasta in or boil potatoes anything that you're cooking in water or liquid.

Fast shipment. Very light weight which is fine for me, especially when it has water in it for cooking pasta. Love the lock feature and can drain the pot of the water by just putting it over the sink drain and leaving it while I do something else. Very easy to clean – and use. Great value for the money paid.

It’s sturdy. Conducts heat well. Offers little steam holes on the on the side of the lid while cooking with lid on. Drainage is slow but I was making stock. Maybe it would drain quicker with pasta than a bunch of veggies stalks.
Biggest complaint, the top handle gets hot. You will need a mitt. Very unexpected with a product like this.

I had to return it. Amazon said that I didn’t need a box or a label to take it to Staples, but unfortunately, Staples made me buy a box, so that was super irritating.

I love this pot. Works just like it should. Easy to use. Easy to clean. You can put it in the dishwasher but I hand wash it. The non-stick coating lasts longer. This is my second one. My oldest son now has the first one. It’s 10 years old and still looks and works like new.

This pan is great. I got it specifically for pasta, and anything that needs to be drained. The lid locks into place. Nothing can fall out of the pan when draining. There are holes that strain, so I found I didn’t need an extra strainer. I suppose if you wanted something more strained you could use one, but so far I haven’t needed one. It is scratch resistant, and the coding prevents sticking, making cleanup easy.
