OK this thing is just a beast! Do becareful with it cause I'm pretty sure it could chop toes off! We live in a northern state where we get some harsh winter conditions. In fact tonight (New Year's eve) Tuesday thru Sunday we're under severe winter storm warnings LOL. So at least I'm prepared if I need to use this LOL.
I also got it for cleaning out the sidewalk cracks, edging the grass/bushes areas so I can install some edging… I'm a short woman too, so I don't need all the handle pieces for this. I kept watching for a shorter one in my offers but they just kept being these ones with the long handles.
The chopper/shovel end of this thing is very sturdy with the extra angle supports, a good sharp/ chiseled edge & the blade is riveted on well too with a good wedge shovel back so you can put your foot/weight on it if needed. The handle is sturdy, overall the entire thing has a good weight to it while being lighter with the hollow metal tubes of the handle sections. I don't see any issue with any of it.
Regular price $ 27.99 per the listing for the 88 inch long one I got. I'm ok with it but as I always say, watch for a sale/coupon, browse listings…
