It was advertised as 1 CAPSULE DAILY = 2 MONTH SUPPLY: Get over 240mg of DHA and 500mg of Omega-3 from a single capsule.
However, when I received the package, I read the label and found that it only has 250 mg omega oils – HALF the amount claimed in the info at purchase! This is not a fair deal – because one would need to take two capsules to get the advertised dose – effectively, the price is double for the user!! Other products containing the full 500 mg omega are available, Nordic Naturals – and I will only buy them from now on!

I'm a bit of science nerd. I love listening to sciencevs. podcasts and they have one "Vitamins & Supplements: Are They Worth It?" In the episode they discussed omega-3 and the benefits to the brain. (They include over 100 citations for the episode, if anyone is interested.) Because I'm vegan –for environmental & ethical reasons– it ruled out most of the omega-3 supplements on the market. Even in the vegan market many had flaxseed oil, which isn't terrible, you just have to take upwards of six pills a day to get an adequate amount. Not so with this supplement…
You only have to take 1 a day to get an adequate amount of DHA. The pills are small, I haven't had any indigestion issues, and if you sniff the pills (in the bottle) it smells a bit like the ocean. The price is economical as you get 60 pills which is $0.50 a day. When I think of things I buy daily or almost daily to make my life better, $0.50 seems like a reasonable amount for good cognitive function into old age.
Freshfield is also environmentally friendly and boasts a plastic negative certification!
There's not much more I can say about this product. Buy it! For yourself & your loved ones.

I searched for vegan omega pills and came across this one and I love it. It does not have an after taste like regular omega pill does. It is a great substitute for the actual omega fish oil pills.

The capsule is fairly small and its softgel soeasy to swallow. Take it at night and you may find you have a faint taste of fishiness in the morning. (yes I KNOW it's vegan but that's how it is happening with me). I started to take it mornings instead and have no issues. No idea if it works well and wont know til I get bloodwork done.
