• Where do Fantastic Fungi Mushrooms come from?

  All of our Mushrooms come from Canadian Farmers. Occasionally, we need to import from the USA and rarely from South America when demand is too high but that only happens about twice a year.

• What type of extraction method do you use?

  Unlike others, we use a special, technologically advanced dual extraction method. First we use an enzymatic extraction method and then Hot Water extraction. Together, these methods release the maximum amount of nutrients without harsh chemicals

• What part of the mushroom do you use to make your mushroom extracts?

  We only us the fruiting body – or the actual mushroom. Most others use the mycelium which is grown on grain, so you're getting starches and grains in your extract. Although that is much cheaper, you don't get a pure, potent extract.

• Why does your extract cost more than some I've seen listed on other sites?

  In order to provide a potent, safe product, there are many tests and quality control measures required. It's expensive but necessary. Just like a designer watch, if you see one cheap, it's probably fake. Many extracts online are over 90% rice powder.

• Do you offer a lower cost mushroom extract?

  Yes, we offer our Ecogenya Continental Brand Mushroom extract powder which is imported from around the world and is priced lower.
