Design on the bags are beautiful but they are useless as bread bags.

I can’t report on effectiveness yet, because I solely bought them to match the Rooster d’Amour I have that use to be my Nanny’s! They are a great size and I’m giddy beyond belief. I don’t like storing my homemade sourdough in plastic because I think it makes it too soft so I’m eating something that will keep it protected but still dry. I’m planning to just wrap mine in the parchment paper it was cooked with and then inside these BEAUTIFUL bread bags!

These were a hit! It was a late Christmas gift for my dad after a failed Etsy order. Luckily he absolutely loved these. They look just as pictured, the roosters have the same exact design as the actual roosters from Portugal. Bags are sturdy and good quality (from what he's reported) and they are the right size to hold a loaf of bread! Reasonably priced and came quickly too. If you're buying for someone who loves Portugal and baking bread they will love this. He's hard to buy for and these were perfect.
