Supplement market has changed a LOT since I started hitting the gym about 20 years ago. Back then, $60 was a lot of money for 5lbs of protein powder, let alone for 2. Considering this is even more than that, it can be a tough pill to swallow.
Having said that, we recognize now that, if you're strength training, getting all the protein you want simply from food, can be difficult. Yes, you can bake a dozen chicken breasts every Sunday, throw in some egg whites, and the occasional can of tuna, but it can be costly and time-consuming. A protein supplement really helps provide some balance in that regard. At $70 for 2lbs, though, it doesn't come cheap.
I'll echo some of the other sentiments, as well -the flavor is quite nice. I have a sweet tooth, and have enjoyed cookies and cream flavored things (including protein powders) in the past. I will say, though, like other reviewers, even with my sweet tooth, I find this to be a bit much at times. I tend to add more unsweetened almond milk than I normally would, to try to mild out the sweetness a bit. It helps.
It dissolves well, and I also appreciate the cookie bits. The texture is a welcome change, honestly.
I'll also echo some other comments with respect to the packaging design. I don't much care for the reason, and it's not exclusive to this brand, but we have to start doing a better job here. There's zero need (as far as I can tell) to use twice the amount of plastic you need. Every jar comes half empty, so maybe make the jars have the size?
At any rate, in all, this seems like a quality protein powder, and I'm enjoying the flavor and texture of the mixed drink. Not sure if I'll continue with it, given the sweetness factor and price, though (for $70 for 2lbs, I kind of want something close to perfect).

There are a ton of protein supplements out there – and for good reason, we are all built differently and have different goals for why we'd want a protein supplement. In this review I will try to give my thoughts on what I liked / didn't like about this supplement, and what type of person it is best suited for.
Evogen is not some fly-by-night random no-name brand. They have been around the fitness industry for some time, and have carved out a name as a top producer of quality products that are used by top athletes and many Hollywood personalities. They make high quality products, that come at a premium price. There is no question when you're buying Evogen that you're buying a very well made product. This Protein Isolate takes not only the most "deluxe" form of Protein (the isolate) but also combines it with BCAA's, EAA, and Protease enzymes to enhance absorption/bioavailability. Honestly, it's a fantastic combo.
Who is this for?: This type of supplement is designed for high-level athletes, people who compete hard that want every possible advantage, and for those who have the means to buy the best products without being concerned about paying a luxury premium.
Is it worth it?: The premium here is actually only incrementally more expensive than other Protein-Isolates on the market, but having said that protein isolate is the most expensive form of protein. If you aren't sure that you NEED protein isolate (as opposed to just regular Whey Protein) then you probably don't, and can find excellent whey proteins for much less.
Is it a good product?: Absolutely. The ingredients are brilliant, with the best kind of protein boosted by a bit of extra BCAA, EAA and Protease, this combo is an absolute powerhouse for anyone who trains really hard and pushes themselves to the limit. Only negative thing I can possibly think of saying is I personally find the taste a bit sweeter than I'd prefer, but taste is subjective for everyone. Bottom line is that not everyone drives an exotic car. Given the opportunity, most people would really ENJOY driving an exotic car – but it's not for everyone. If you want high-performance, then you pay for high performance. This is a 5-star product that I'm happy to recommend for the right athlete who demands the best.

Evogen IsoJect is an excellent whey isolate protein—super clean, easy to digest, and great for recovery. The chocolate peanut butter flavor is smooth and delicious, not too sweet or artificial. It also mixes well with no clumps, whether in water or milk.
If you're looking for a high-quality, fast-digesting protein for muscle recovery, this is a great choice.

I've been incorporating this Evogen Isoject protein powder into my post-workout routine for a couple of weeks now, and it's a pretty solid option. The first thing that struck me is how smooth and satisfying it is – a welcome change from some of the bloating I've experienced with other protein powders. The Cookies & Cream flavor is spot on, not too sweet and with a nice creamy texture. It mixes well, no clumps here!
Where this powder really shines is in its quick absorption. After a tough workout, my muscles feel like they're getting that quick hit of protein they need to start recovering. I appreciate that it's an isolate, which means it's more bioavailable than some other types of protein powders. However, as many have pointed out, isolates aren't necessarily needed for everyone as part of their exclusive protein intake. For me, it's a great occasional boost.
The downsides? Well, the price is a bit steep compared to some other options on the market – but you're paying for that high-quality, quick absorption. Also, I didn't notice any dramatic changes in my muscle tone or strength, but again, I think that's more about the overall fitness journey rather than a single product.
All in all, if you're looking for a smooth, tasty protein powder to help your muscles recover after workouts and can afford the premium price, this is a solid choice. It's earned a spot in my supplement rotation.
