Best socks ever. I use them for cross country skiing. They’re made of enough fool that they keep my feet warm and free of sweat/moisture and smell, but stretchy enough that they feel like regular socks. Good price too!

These are my favourite hiking socks. Not only are they guaranteed for life (Darn Tough will send you a new pair when you send in your worn ones), they are extremely comfy. They have cushioned bottoms and are naturally antimicrobial. I find they fit a bit snug (I wear a 9.5 and use a large). They wick sweat and stay dry even after sweaty all day hikes.

These socks wash well. I air dry as they’re wool.
The cuffs stay upright and hug the calf unlike some other brands that fall because of cheap or defective elastic. These socks are thick and comfortable.

I bought my first pair at a local shoe store and the owner recommended these socks. I wore them to a Buffalo Bills game back in December and it was COLD..felt like -17°C cold. They kept my feet mostly warm. Mind you, standing on concrete it's hard to keep anything warm when it's that cold. I loved these socks so much that I had to get a second pair. Wool blend socks are the best for your feet, and Darn Tough are the best wool blend socks. They are the perfect thickness. But Darn Tough socks also come in a few different thickness. So, they can be worn year round. The thinner wool blends are great for warmer weather. They are not too hot. Another issue people have with wool socks is they say they are itchy. These wool-blend socks are NOT itchy. They are a smooth soft knit. They are machine washable. Although I prefer to line dry them. They come in a few sizes, so you can get a better fit. These are my favorite socks. I have had several pair now for about 15 years. They show no signs of wearing out in the usual places such as the toes or heels. Darn Tough comes with a Lifetime Guarantee. They probably rarely have to honor this, as their product is so good.
