When we travel (and we travel a lot), we always use compression packing cubes. While inexpensive, they are useful for organizing our belongings and providing extra space in our suitcases. We recently convinced our daughter to give them a try and she was extremely impressed with how useful they were for keeping all of her family’s clothes together and accessible.
This set of eight bags consists of five compression cubes (one large/extra large, two medium, and two small), a zippered shoe bag, a small zippered toiletry bag (constructed mainly of heavyweight transparent PVC), and a large hamper bag with a clip closure. The bottoms of the cubes are ripstop nylon while the tops are constructed of an extremely fine transparent mesh. The main zippers of the cubes are orange while the compression zippers are a grey which match the nylon fabric. I really like this feature! When you are living out of a suitcase, having the two zippers coloured differently is very helpful since it’s not always necessary to take the time to unzip both.
One of the things we really liked about this set was the size of the packing cubes. Many sets contain smaller cubes that are handy for shirts and smaller items but don’t come with anything that can accommodate dresses, suits, coats, or even a pair of heavy pants. The large and medium bags in this set will certainly accommodate packing more bulky items. We also liked the idea that the contents of each bag (at least the top item or two) are easily visible through the transparent mesh making it much easier to keep track of where individual items are located.
All the items in the set seem well constructed. The ripstop nylon is very light which allows the bags to be folded up compactly and keeps weight to a minimum. The zippers are of excellent quality and have easy to grasp zipper pulls making them easy to open. With the exception of the hamper and the shoe bag, all have convenient handles. While we don’t usually use a hamper for dirty clothes while travelling, our daughter, with her young family, thinks it’s a great addition to the set. While I like having a waterproof bag for shampoos, soaps, and such, I’m sure that many will find the toiletry bag a bit small to be of great use.
These are premium quality compression bags. They are well constructed and have a convenient window for identifying what’s in each bag. Their large size is a real bonus! We see these getting lots of use. Highly recommended.

These CIPWAY Compression Packing Cubes are the perfect example of an item that I didn't know that I needed but now that I have it I couldn't imagine living without it. They provide an efficient way to pack your suitcase or store your clothing away at home.
Upon unboxing these cubes you are presented with 2 x small cubes, 2 x medium cubes, 1 x large cube, 1 x toiletry bag, 1 x shoe bag and 1 x laundry bag.
The cubes have high quality YKK zippers that slide smoothly without binding. The zippers have long draw strings to ensure the ability to easily close them. The cubes have a see through mesh window that also allows ventilation and breathability and also allows you the ability to see what is inside each cube. The cubes feature a handle for easy carrying.
The cubes have a double zipper design which allows you to compress your clothing after packing it. You pack the cube with both zippers open and then close the top zipper. Then by pressing down on the cube you close the second zipper thus compressing the cube to a much smaller size. When compressed the cube is roughly 1/3 of the original size. While these do efficiently compress your clothes they do not compress as much as vacuum bags.
Overall, I have been very impressed with the quality and design of these cubes. They are perfect for at home use or when packing a suitcase. They allow you easy access to the items you want in your suitcase so if you are looking for a shirt you know where they are and don't have to rummage through everything to find what you want. Based on my experiences with these packing cubes I highly recommend them.

This set of eight packing cubes are very nice quality, way nicer than my old set in terms of fabric material, zipper quality, and workmanship. A variety of sizes is very convenient in organizing your items. I don’t use the shoe bag for shoes as I don’t feel very hygienic dirtying the interior with whatever germs and bacteria, so I use the shoe bag for something else, and use disposable supermarket grocery bags for shoes. After traveling, I keep these packing cubes inside the suitcase so they are ready for use the next trip. At time of review, the 8pcs pack is priced at $63, and a 10% coupon is available.

This set comes with various sizes and the materials overall just felt higher quality than their competitors. This includes the nylon, zippers and handles. Each of the compression cubes has mesh material allowing your clothes to air out. The zippers were easy to grip and I didn't have any issues with snagging. The compression zipper works. However, the zippers are all one-way zippers whereas I prefer having two-way zippers. The handles are large and seem capable of handling a full load. The shoe bag felt nicer than the competitors but could have been wider. The laundry bag is easily superior to other options out there. It's designed like a dry bag whereas most other ones are drawstring bags. This gives it other uses if you end up on a water excursion and want to keep other things dry. The toiletry bag, on the other hand, is very basic. Overall, these are high quality compression cubes, albeit with some minor areas of improvement.

I was skeptical at first about the effectiveness of packing cubes but these are both very high quality and affordable. They compress down to save maybe ~20% space but the main benefit of packing cubes is to keep your clothes organized rather than the space savings from compression. I would highly recommend if this is your use case, and I was immediately converted after how easy the organizational benefit was.
