I'm loving this pan. The grooves are deep, which puts a perfect striped sear on the steaks. Being cast iron you can heat it till it's really smokin' before dropping on the meat, so it's like having a barbecue in the kitchen.
The downside is the weight of course but that's a price I'm prepared to pay because I eat a lot of steaks – ha ha.
