Just finished Kedar kanthantrek for 5 days and this was a real savior. Light yet very strong on land, swamp, heavy snow
Cascade Mountain Tech 100% Carbon Fiber Adjustable Lightweight Trekking Poles with Cork Grip and … (verified owner) –
Bought for my wife and she is quite happy. They are indeed a combination of light weight and sturdiness. Easy to adjust the height and tighten the locks (there is a third party online table of recommended height). Nice looking too – slick "carbon" profile.
Cork grips – huge positive (she is not a big fan of synthetic vs skin, to say the least). Price tag is much lower than that of the "big names", but she tried one of those and didn't find any difference in terms of performance or overall quality. Will see how they perform in the long run, but so far so good. I would strongly recommend this product.

I use one to assist with walking (balance/stroke issue). It was easy to assemble and adjust to the required height. I have been using it for a month and is lightweight and seems quite sturdy. I especially like the locking mechanism. It is more secure than on my previous walking pole, which I had to tighten to my height with a twist. That twisting, over time, loosened to the point where it would no longer hold and I would suddenly, while walking, find my tall pole reduced to one foot in height! The Cascade pole has secure snaps so I don't foresee that would be an issue in the future.

If you buy these expecting to have all of the high end features and quality materials you'd expect to see in very high end poles around $300 you will be somewhat disappointed in this product.
These poles are extremely light weight, carbon fibre appears to be of good quality (perhaps one of the most important qualities of this pole).
The adjustable clamps are long and plastic which I feel may one day snap off due to wear and tear unless careful, however, they look easily and cheaply replaceable if that were to happen.
The straps look and feel pretty cheap but again something that you could replace if/when needed.
The cork handle is fairly stiff feeling and I get the sense that this is some sort of cork polymer composite and not just cork. I was hoping for a soft cork feel kinda like high end fishing rods but unfortunately these do not feel that way and are firmer.
For the price these poles look like they will stand up to their main function of supporting your weight and the abuses of many long hiking trips as the quality of the pole carbon fiber does appear good.
The carrying case and additional accessories is a nice bonus here.
Overall I am happy with this purchase and recommend these poles as the cost is unbeatable.

Traded in my crutches for these excellent trekking poles.
Had knee tendon surgery six weeks ago and started using these for better stability.
Easy to set up, lightweight and strong.
Highly recommend for balance while walking, can’t wait to try for trekking asap!

Got these for my husband who’s getting more into tougher hikes and he just loves them. He’s the kind of person who buys brand name everything and looks down on products that we’re not made by the top 3 companies on the market, but he’s been using and loving these poles. They’re very sturdy and reliable, never once the clips came undone or the collapsible parts collapsed during a hike. The cork top is also great since it absorbs hand sweat, keeping his hands dry on hot days. All in all, it was a great purchase and we recommend it!

For the price, these were the best carbon poles by far. Lightest by far in the sub $100 range. Cascade is a know brand. They sell a three section pair with cork grips at costco and on here, but the weight, although maybe just around 100g lighter each pole, is noticeably lighter. When extended to 48-52” there is a slight vibration feel/hollow sound when touched to ground but im guessing its not uncommon with light carbon poles. Im happy to accept the minimal vibration as i feel only a single piece pole would be totally vibration free
These are only about 3 inches longer when collapsed compared to the other three section poles mentioned (which had a similar feel/vibration). When closed, because they are tapered at the end, they move in and out freely an inch or so (the clamp is set at the extended fatter pole diameter so the bottom part is loose at the tapered part when collapsed).
Im 5’11” 180lbs and feel these are strong enough to assist with hiking balance. Havent used them yet but wanted a light as possible pair. Compared to most $200-300 name brand sets, these are still lightest or as light. I prefer two sections anyway as they have less parts to break and wont be abusing them so dont have concerns about durability of carbon. Not sure if two sections is considered stronger or weaker than three sections.
Also comes with a nylon zip bag to store poles and baskets/parts
I guess the one star off is for the loose ends when collapsed and the vibration.

Tienen buena calidad, lo malo es que las extensiones se bajan si te apoyas mucho sobre ellos, aun así aguantan súper bien para salidas de hike avanzadas … sigo sin encontrarle un uso a los accesorios adicionales.

I used these poles for a 5 day hike along the South West coast path in Cornwall, England. Parts of the path had some serious ascents/descents, and my poles were a lifesaver! Even using them on more level parts was great, as the path could be quite narrow and rocky, and the poles helped with balance. Super poles for the price!

Received the wrong colour, and it definitely doesn’t include a storage sac as advertised. Pretty disappointing but it seems to be a recurring issue …

Used quite a few times walking in the highlands. Good so far, only problem is the pole ends not gripping in icy conditions. My microspikes prevent me from falling but the pole ends slip and make it a bit uncomfortable when the
