The media could not be loaded. I’ve recently ran out of Vit D3 and when I was looking into some supplements I could order on Amazon, I felt like it was taking forever to find one that matched what I needed. I usually take around 2000 IU of D3 each day, but so many supplements are either 250 IU or 500 IU (IU means international units).
I found this supplement product and I was intrigued about the K2, so I did some research and found out some pretty interesting things. I found out that K2 is a nutrient that plays a huge role in blood clotting, cardiovascular and bone health. Its typically found in dark leafy greens and also fermented foods (which not a lot of people eat).
So, after consulting with a close friend of mine who is a dietician, she encouraged me to get the supplement and here is my review:
PROS:
– 1000 IU is perfect because I take two each day and I’m good.
– The pills are small. This is a plus because I always find larger pills get stuck in my throat and I feel like I’m about to choke! Not a pleasant experience to go through.
– They have a coconut oil carrier oil inside the pill. This is great because D3 is a fat soluble vitamin (that means unlike vitamin C and other water soluble vitamins which just means that they breakdown and dissolve in water, vitamin D dissolves in fat).
– Shipping was very fast.
CONS:
– I would have liked to have found one that had higher IU for the Vitamin D.
– It’s a little expensive, but I think if it’s a good brand then it’s worth it.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, I am happy with my decision to buy them. Ultimately if I can get a higher IU of D3, and the pills are easy to swallow with no weird odors, then that’s a big win in a vitamin supplement.

I originally found CanPrev when I was looking for fish oils. I noticed their D3 & K2 is suspended in organic coconut oil, which is great. I usually take vitamin D with something fatty anyways, but it's nice they've suspended it in a medium chain triglyceride to help absorption.
I've seen a few negative reviews complaining about "milky" or "white cloudy substance" – this is the coconut oil! Depending on your climate the oil will be solid or liquid form. Try holding one in the palm of your hand and breathing on it. The milky white substance (coconut oil) will melt.

This is Quality product it fulfil my expectation.

This product though looks like it would be good is not. It causes me extreme G.I. issues and I am not able to return them. $29 for some thing that causes more problems physically then good is not OK. I am very disappointed in this product and the fact that I can’t return it when I’ve taken a few tablets and spread them out to see if what I was experiencing was from the tablet or from something else and it is very clear it’s from this supplement. I shouldn’t have to pay for something that makes me sick. I’ve never had a supplement do this to me.
