A little disappointed that the bottle was not sealed. When I buy Burt bee products, they all come sealed. I didn’t take the risk of using the product in case it was contaminated.

I received a small bottle of this as part of a gift set. Initially when I first opened the lotion it smelled lovely, like honey and milk. However, as soon as I applied the lotion all over my body, it stank like chemicals and burnt plastic. It made me gag, the smell does not dissipate for hours. Extremely disappointed in Burt's Bee's for releasing this garbage and claiming the product to be "natural". It is not! Read the ingredients on the back, it is full of chemicals!

I used this when visiting a friend and loved it do much I ordered two for myself when I got back home. The pump bottle for home, and a squeeze tube for the car. It feels creamy putting it on, absorbs well, and stays on for a long time. It has a gentle fresh-smelling scent. I'm sensitive to scents and this scent is ok for me.

This works superbly well although it does have an odd smell and it's hard to find in stores and can be expensive online. But I found a buy two get one free for under $20 online at Walgreens with free shipping if you pick it up at the store! That really says it all but for more details please read on.
DRY SKIN: When I suddenly got dry skin and began to itch on my thighs and bum no matter what I put on except vaseline I thought I'd never be able to find a fairly natural product that worked to save my life but this does! I was slathering it on to be sure it worked but found after experimenting that I don't have to use that much in order for it to keep the itching at bay.
EYEBROWS: Now, I have used it for itchiness as well as flaking eyebrows, something that also suddenly appeared as I got older. That was horrible because it was as if I had dandruff on my brows. Fortunately, it wasn't heavy and an occasional, quick wipe of the brows could keep things under control as long as I remembered. But since I'm older and the brows have thinned considerably I needed a little brow enhancer, lol, which wouldn't hold up with constant wiping. I know this is probably TMI but this lotion has worked beautifully for those pesky brow issues even if I forget to use it every once in a while. I thought I'd always be fighting that problem but with this lotion it's just an annoying, slightly amusing memory!
SMELL: Now my seven year old granddaughter hates the smell. For me it's usually just ok but sometimes, for whatever reason, it smells almost like something went bad. But thankfully it doesn't linger. My granddaughter stops complaining almost immediately if she's near me after I put it on because the smell fades that quickly. If it lingered she would definitely let me know so I'm glad to say that although it's an odd smell it hasn't made her not want to miss out on our sleepovers. So, even with the occasional stench, it works so darn well that I still choose to buy it.
BUY CHEAPLY: It's expensive but almost 99% natural so it's worth it to me but it's hard to find in stores. I got my second bottle on Amazon and was fine with that but I gave up Prime, for reason's I won't go into here. Before I run out of this "wonder" lotion I've been looking online and saw it's not sold in a lot of stores so for that reason I'm guessing it's a lot more expensive to order – price has gone up $4 almost $5 on Amazon even! But I found a great deal at Walgreen's which is currently buy two get one free so I ordered three for just under $20 with no shipping and handling as I'm having it shipped for free to my nearest store. That's three bottles for about $6.60. Because it's hard to find and therefore expensive otherwise I felt getting three bottles for that price was definitely worth it even with the smell issue but as I said before, said smell doesn't linger long.
OVERALL: This lotion works like no other for my particularly dry skin issues and I dread running out. Yes, I could always go back to using vaseline (which I never tried for the brows btw) but I'd rather not use petroleum products. So I'll keep looking when I go shopping but will also keep looking for bargains online. I love it so much that if the smell wasn't a problem, even though a small one, I'd give it five stars instead of four. It's a good product that does what it says. I hope this review has helped you.

best lotion ever! for someone who is always on the search for the perfect moisturizer- i've been through them all- natural lotions, organic lotions, coconut oil, almond oil, grapeseed, etc…this is hands down the best moisturizing lotion out there. i have read reviews that talk about the "new formula" smelling awful, or not liking it because of the addition or subtraction of ingredients—i cannot compare this lotion to those statements, because this is the first time i have tried it- but i will say i am on my second bottle and i keep a smaller version for travel. i will not leave home without it. i personally like the scent, and i have an aversion to a lot of "smells", especially of body care products. to me it smells like honey, which i happen to love. i keep one at my job as well, which requires me to wash my hands a lot. my skin quality all over has improved significantly. it leaves my skin so soft and is easily absorbed. i usually apply directly after a shower….it claims to be a "24-hour moisturizer", but i would go further and state that it lasts longer than that. i also mix a bit of this lotion with some pure Aubrey Organics aloe vera that i keep in the fridge and apply it to my face at night. it has not clogged my pores or cause any breakouts. i do routinely wash my face with raw honey, and i think this helps keep breakouts at bay, as well. it's only fitting that i use the milk & honey lotion on the rest of my body! 🙂 this is a really great moisturizer! the only one i will use!
