Social Proof Bodhi Dog 2in1 Hot Spot & Bitter Spray No Chew (verified owner) –
Sprayed on my plants and woke up to even more leaves on the floor with holes in them. Ended up using almost a quarter of a bottle in one day trying to get my cat to stay out of the plants, but it did absolutely nothing. Waste of money.

After a while, my dog started licking it off the objects which it was sprayed on, haha!

Does not stain but didn't last as long as I would like on the couch. When it dried they went back to chewing. Had to be very vidulant. Eventually they did stop.

I really loved the idea it gives and yes while it does work for a while, the taste goes away really quick, I spray quite a few sprays around the things I don’t want him biting, including my shoes and toes, after a few minutes the taste goes away, he bites once or twice and doesn’t love the taste but it doesn’t stop him much. Maybe I need to try a different brand?

We thought this actually worked as it did for a couple hours then our dog was right back to chewing everything..

Our boy loved it licked it off every thing. But that was not its purpose.

Puppy's licking it off the furniture. So I still have to apply my tea tree gel.

I bought this product in spite of how expensive it was because it is an all natural product and it was recommended on a veterinarian website. My 12 y.o. Goldendoodle has allergies to grass in the spring and fall which irritate his paws in spite of us wiping them. He loved licking the product off of his paws. This product did not work at all on our dog. For this reason and the cost, I do not recommend it.

I bought this to help with my cats, which this indicates it works for as well. Like someone else mentioned, the cats licked it off. It did nothing to deter them from anything. The scent is nice but, worthless. I would not recommend anyone waste $40+ like I did for something that does not work

Bitter Apple has been my go-to product to keep my dogs from chewing for years. But my youngest dog (2 y/o Basenji) got past the taste of Bitter Apple after a while and was chewing on furniture. When I use this stuff, he has NO INTEREST in chewing on the furniture. Totally effective.
Two notes:
1. Unlike Bitter Apple, which has no taste or scent to humans, you can smell and taste this when you spray it. Kind of a bummer. Last time I used it I took a sip of wine a few minutes later and the wine tasted like bitter lemons.
2. If you have a really tenacious dog, like I do, you have to reapply. It seems to wear off after two or three days, and I'll catch my dog chewing the cushions again.
My goal is to use this regularly, for long enough, that it becomes a training tool…then hopefully the rotten dog (not really) will stop chewing the furniture altogether. (He's a sweet thing, really.)

I've spent a lot of money on products like this that didn't work. BUT! This one does! My two little Yorkies thank you.

I bought this because my golden retriever puppy has decided that I am a human chew toy and I was getting desperate. I can confirm that the product does taste bitter because I sprayed it on myself, forgot about it, and accidentally tasted it. It also smells really good, if you like the smell of lemongrass. I find this a bit odd — how can something smell this good but taste that bad at the same time? The problem is that it's just not effective. I sprayed it on everything that my puppy liked to chew on and what did he do? He licked it off. Then looked at the bottle like he wanted more. I KNOW that this stuff is bitter-tasting, but it didn't deter my pup one bit. So, save your money because this isn't the solution.
