We don't give this as their main food, they're both big dogs (Great Pyrenees and shepherd/husky mix) but we add a scoop in with their kibble and as soon as they see the can they're so excited. We tried alternatives but nothing produced the enthusiasm they're showing for this brand so obviously they think it tastes great. I'm just glad it's not a lamb food that's full of chicken as most are, and my great pyr has a sensitivity to too much chicken so we try to avoid if we can. Plus the cost for 24 cans is really great comparatively so we will definitely be repurchasing.
Update: my dogs still love it but when I ordered another case of 24 cans Amazon is saying you don’t get a case of 24 when you order that. A case of 24 means 12, which is odd since I previously ordered 24 and I received 24. Customer service was rude and just awful to deal with in respect to this false advertising, when all I wanted was what I ordered. Maybe the team that names these things should consider calling it lamb/chicken or lamb pack/chicken pack because in the English language calling something a case of 24 would mean you’re going to get a 24 of an item in a case. The associates even tried to change the phrasing telling me it actually said something else for the pattern name and not CASE OF 24. And they wouldn’t listen to me, just saying random other nonsense that had no association with what I was saying. I even went so far as to ask the associates if they bought something at a store and got home to see the box was only half full would they be okay with that and 2 different people said yes to that so maybe the associates need training in the English language and actual customer service skills. Incredibly disappointing service today.

I have been struggling for months trying to get my small puppy to eat on his own and he’s given us quite a few hypoglycemic scares. I tried other foods and the only way he would eat is if I spoon fed him and even then it wasn’t enough calories. I finally tried Blue Buffalo (chicken) and he LOVES it! Begs for it, eats on his own, and eats enough to keep him healthy. The wet food is void of the slimy stuff you normally see in wet food and it seems like high quality ingredients. It does smell a bit strong on his breath but not in a terrible way – just strong chicken and thankfully some dental chews do away with that pretty easily! His fur has been a lot softer and healthier as well which is a plus of a healthy diet!
