Seems like a very high grade steel, and I love how thin this is and how wide it opens for an 8" wrench. If you're only going to have one adjustable wrench in a crash kit or similar, this is the one to have. The only thing I don't like is that the jaws seem just a touch sloppier than I would have expected. Snap-On sells this exact same wrench re-badged under their own name; the only difference is the Snap-On one has a chrome plating. The snap-on one I looked at seemed a little less sloppy – I think the extra few thou thickness of the chrome plating makes the difference.

Very nice wrench with tight tolerances on everything. I keep one of these in my vehicle and at home at all times, great for doing housework when you don't need specialty tools.

Same manufacturer, snap quality, just a different finish. I got the snap on ADHW8A before i knew about bahco. The snap on costs $116cad/$85 usd. The bahco 9031 RC *chrome finish* was $48cad/$35usd. And this one is only $30cad/$22usd. Up to you if think paying 4x more just for different finish/colour/logo is worth it. I dont think so, just bahco for me now

Probably the best brand of adjustables ever made. Ideally you should use the correct size wrench, but these will work in a pinch. Nice and tight, no slop in the mechanism.

I am a licensed mechanic and have spent likely too much time on the snapon truck over the years, I always laughed at the adjustables on the truck pushing 100 bucks! These are the exact same wrench just not red and chrome and to be honest I like these more after having them both side by side.

Absolutely love it, fits where big wrenches don't around right clearance hydraulic fittings. Can handle a decent sized breaker bar for doing stupid stuff. Will be buying a few more for when I break this one. It stands up to abuse really well.

Bought this on recommendation from a buddy. It's a good little adjustable wrench. Not a lot of play and I like the grip.

I love this wrench. I've always carried adjustables with me every day at work as an engineer. I use to carry the crescent brand 10”. It had great leverage and a wider mouth than the 8” or 6” or course. But she was heavy. Last year I started working on a Drill rig and everyone was carrying one of these little guys. They open to 1 5/8” That is massive for an 8” adjustable, and the main reason it’s so great. Also the tips of the flats are only 7/32 thick, you can fit this girl in some pretty tight spots. It’s tough too. I’ve had mine for a year or so and it’s still tight with regular wear, but there are people who have used theirs every day for years out here. Zero machining surfaces left on them, scratched and gouged, size marks worn off, but they still hold even flats and adjust with one thumb. Even the rubber handle, though cut, roughed, and dented is still whole and comfortable. Some of the older ones from 4 years ago and older seem to have “made in Sweden” stamped on them, whereas the newer ones do not. But quality seems the same, and they wear the same. Consistency is alright. We usually order 20 at a time direct, on the rig every few months, they have a tendency to “disappear” Once in a while some flats don’t seem to line up exactly, but has not affected performance of the tool. Just know there is room for improvement there. The one I have ordered from here seems perfectly flat and the same quality as the ones I use at work. Hands down the most affective, versatile adjustable wrench available. I feel I cannot dock a star for the flats, but know if the quality diminished or the consistency falls (are you listening Bahco, or snap on, or whoever the heck deals with quality control for this wrench now) I’ll be back to let everyone know with a vengeance. I hate when good tools go bad because of a fat man in a suit.
