Not very sharp and mine broke within a couple of months of peeling potatoes each week. I do not recommend them as a good value product.

I tried it as a utensil to peel ginger and it is so ergonomical I believe they should have marketed it as a ginger peeler. It takes a bit of getting used to but peeling 2 pounds is a breeze using this peeler that performs the actions of a spoon and knife and peeler in one. It is the best design I could find anywhere to tame the odd challenge of ginger.

So. This was smaller and cheaper feeling than what I wanted (white) ..but I opened them and washed them figuring, its not super complex machinery. I had expected something more like my old one (green).
No.
One broke out of the wash. I wash by hand. No extreme heat was involved.
I wish I could return them, but at least I can throw them away.
