I ordered a large because I measured 11.5" on my arm. They were too tight and cutting off circulation to my hands. I sent them back and ordered the next size up. Over all they seem to be well made. They have plenty of padding. I believe they will hold up well.

It was very snug but is slowly stretching out. I would recommend sizing up.
