I didn't pay much attention to the dimensions but maybe should have. They are almost Lilliputian but the upside is the baby broom and dustpan hang easily on the rack with other fireplace tools and the quality seems alright. I haven't actually used them but I'm sure they will be fine provided I am brushing teeny tiny piles of ashes from the fireplace.

I mean this is a fine little broom and dust pan. I got it to hang by the cat's litter and I hoped that the dust pan would go more flush to the floor than it does, making it easier to sweep stuff into the pan. They're also sufficiently attractive that I don't feel like I need to hide them in a cupboard, so after fixing the broken string, they're fine hanging out in the open. I mean really, why do we insist on making brooms and dust pans super ugly. If it's something you'd like to use every day, then get something attractive enough to leave out hanging in a convenient spot!

This is small and exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy. Quite rustic and attractive next to our fireplace. Perfect for keeping the stray dirt cleaned up around the front of the fire area. Love it.

I have been so sick of trying to use standing plastic dustpans, the posture required to use them is super uncomfortable to me as it puts pressure on the abdomen. I missed using a handheld tiny dustpan and broom as a kid, and remembered seeing ones hanging in old shops, so this was the best thing I found when I searched with those in mind.
Unfortunately, I can't see the listing I bought it from anymore, so I don't know if anyone even sees this review? But anyway, I'm just using it as my regular indoor dustpan and it works great! Love the materials, it hangs fine, looks pretty, colors are nice, no problems with function at all. It's much better physically to get on the floor and collect what you've swept up IMO, and you can actually see what you're doing. Thanks for this! (Yes it's small, but I knew that and don't have any issues with the size)

Bought this for my Mum as she really wanted one for when she's baking.
It's surprisingly well made for such a low price. Very sturdy, yet lightweight and it LOOKS wonderful. You can display it proudly.
I'm going to buy another one for myself to keep my coffee station tidy.

As others have said, it is quite small, but built of sturdy materials and well constructed. I would imagine if not abused it could easily last a lifetime. I agree with the review that said it was not stainless steel but rather it is nicely coated mild steel. I believe it will be absolutely perfect as a counterbrush to clean the stray flower and seeds and crumbs from the food contact surfaces in the kitchen and from the table linens on the dining table. I'm going to use it for just that so that it stays sanitary. Although, technically it would have to be made in Japan to be a Shuro broom and this one is clearly marked made in China, it is absolutely a quality product. The very same big palms and windmill palms that have been used for centuries are native to both China and Japan. I'm sure the broom bristles are authentic; they are very fine and don't create any static electricity so it's extremely well suited for sweeping and collecting extremely fine dust like pastry flour. I couldn't be happier with this product.

When I first opened the parcel, I was disappointed with the size as it was smaller than I imagined. However having used it, it was much better than expected and really perfectly sized. I have also found it good for scrapping off drops of wax which splash onto the laminate floor.
Much better than the plastic dustpan and brushes.
